What I really like about your channel is I learn stuff every time and see old things I've never seen before. The first time I rode a jet ski was when we rented 2 stand-ups for 30 minutes riding in the Gulf of Mexico and we could barely walk when we got back. And we thought we were in good shape.

Loved that piece of history "in action" (instrument )that use to reside in a printing company? Lube, oil & then the art of getting it running; & then the move to under body work on vehicles; then the romp & ride on the water in the afternoon, adrenaline pumps and 2 stroke machines glide on the water. A good day for you hopefully & sorry re the big heat.

Don't forget to show us the hacksaw in operation with new blades. Other than the noise, the jet-skiing looks like awesome fun. I personally think 2-stroke engines for any type of transportation should be illegal. With jet-skis, all that oil ends up in the water.

I thought I saw one of those old 3-wheeled postal Cushman’s in the background. My pop was a lot like you. If something was broken, he could fix it better than new!! He got one of those Cushmans, fixed it and we had a ball running it around the property and the neighborhood. And my dad also had an old power hacksaw similar to yours. But smaller. I think he gave it away when he got a chop saw from Harbor Freight. Thanks for bringing back the Memories of My childhood.

I mean this very respectfully and in good natured fun… as I watch your videos, I keep thinking Merlin reminds me of someone from the good old days… I finally figured it out… Thomas Magnum left Hawaii and P.I. work; along with Rick and TC, then met Jimmy in AZ and started doing cool car projects after giving Robin Masters back the red Ferrari… just for laughs. Nobody get uptight… 😊

I put a 500cc Rotax engine out of a Skidoo snowmobile, onto a cheap 2 seater chinese go kart-- (the engines are very similar to those seadoo's, minus all the marine accessories.). We clocked that go kart on gps doing 74mph in a short city block. lol.. Rotax is one of my favorite engine designs. I always liked yamaha banshee's too, over the racing 450's quads.. But a rotax, how it has that rotary valve rather than reeds; it's just an excellent design and they are super reliable. They are actually so reliable that there are versions of rotax engines used in aviation; in smaller planes. One thing that can catch you is their 2 stroke oil pumps. I usually bypass all that stuff and just premix my fuel. You may have to re-jet it a little by doing that, but they stay 99% bullet proof by doing that.

That saw will keep from heating up your material. a finer edge, good straight drop (Gravity) cuts Love that old stuff. I have a couple of old drills that will twist a car in half slowly if they catch you can't slow them down fast enough after it brakes your arms. Marvel 'Stan Lee' reciprocating saw, Well made. I Like the jeep build.

That looks like a hell of a lot of fun right there I live up on the great lakes on lake Huron but grew up on lake Erie and that was my teenage years were to ride jet ski's and go fishing all weekend long and head to Kelly's Island and Put In Bay in Ohio the over to Pelee Island in Canada and have a great time. I have not done that since the 2005 or so but I still get out every weekend on my boat to go fishing but the weather is changing now winter is coming soon time to get the winter toys out LOL!
