Trump had files and showed some to people with no security clearance. Cannon not doing her job for prosecutors to present their case and heard by a jury is outright to protect Trump against her oath of office. All I can say, Cannon and the SC know how damaging the facts are against Trump that they are working together to cover his azz. They know he will be found GUILTY of stealing classified and top secret documents.

It was the Florida Chief Judge & one other Judge that told Cannon she should not take the case & should recuse herself. 2 reasons.. Cannon is not an experienced judge & has violated 2 defendants 4th amendment rights in their trials. The only skif is in Miami & building one in Fort Pierce would cost tax payers millions of dollars. Cannon refused to recuse. She chose to foot drag, obstruct Justice & acted as Trumps criminal defense judge. She is corrupt. DOJ needs to investigate her.

Disbarment has zero legal effect on being a federal judge. Federal judges serve lifetime appointments and can only be removed via the impeachment process.

The US has laws they have to go by, and those laws are for the AG as well. Just because corrupt people like Trump cross those lines as well as Bill Barr I am guessing doesn't give a law-abiding AG that cherish the Constitution and abides by the laws is going to step over that line to prosecute Trump. That just gives Trump a way out with appeals. AG has a hard enough time living with putting a previous president in jail because the cases have to be air-tight to keep from appeal if they indict him at all. It has to be so egregious that it is hard for the country to come back from. Why are they blaming AG Garland? All of this lands on the Republicans like the border. Judges are expected to recuse themselves when there is a perception of a conflict of interest and she did not do so saying that no conflict existed just as the SCOTUS has done in a number of cases. That is the definition of corruption.

Just a little clarity. It is not the judicial "branch" fighting against an enforceable code of ethics. It's SCOTUS saying that their flimsy code of conduct is sufficient. All other levels of the judiciary have enforceable ethics rules in place.

He no doubt has exercised what amounts to complicity. The Washington Post reported on how Garland and other Trump favoring people in the DOJ refused to allow DOJ prosecutors to pursue a criminal investigation of Trump and co-conspirators at the top for over a year. It blows my mind that MeidasTouch and other progressive podcasts didn't even mention that reporting. I've noticed this many times on MeidasTouch, a refusal to criticize Garland to the point of gaslighting.
