Thanks for the awesome advice, I'm going to try it this year. I might even go back to using tinsel so the flames are reflected even more. I pride myself on safety so I too will look forward to a firemen visit to tell me in person how careful and fire aware I am. It sounds like an amazing tradition to start.

Gaius Maecenas we have both, candles and some electric light decoration and loats of fake snow on it.😂🙈and of course our Christmas tree is always dripping of glitter just to be sure we are extra enough and our whole house decoration is the same😂😬🙈

I'm joking of course but i can make scissors glide yes. You have to do the initial cut first and find the sweet spot on the scissors and just glide the rest. Sometimes when the scissors get resistance to the glide you need to initiate the stepback protocol and do another cut then glide again.

I used to work at a store that offered gift wrap, I was terrible at it . But we had one person who was my go to, always did a perfect job, just amazing. He was also a big burly guy. People were always surprised when they saw he'd wrapped their gifts. I loved it.

Some people have crazy wrapping ways . I like to wrap the presents to create a pocket on top . This fits a card perfectly so it’s easier than trying to tie it on with the ribbon

Personally my religion doesn't celebrate Christmas but i can very easily relate to LOTS of stuff he said except fir the Christmas tree, instead it is the couch 😂 every year when i go to my hometown where my family lives, when i visit either of my grandparents house, because im the smallest yet still most stable to fit and be able to grab everything under the couch quickly beforw my dad's hands slip(just a reminder it had slipped before😬😂) and the couch falls straight on my back so every time his hands get sweaty he counts down from 3 so i can get out just in time😂

I am a glider and I can to the ribbon thing. With the gliding, the trick is to start cutting normally, then move the blades less and less. You'll feel the glide as it approaches.
