Love this plane, I have two of the FMS Avanti 70mm. I took out the Reflex from mine but added an AR631. Awesome video!

I have both, prefer the FMS for flight but Freewing is a better built plane and more durable.

Those FMS Reflex gyros (same as Arrows Vector) are a bit different in how they function verses SAFE/AS3X. I don't believe you need an extra channel for them to work properly though. Switch functionality is a different order. Use 3 position switch and middle point is gyro off (yes you can turn it off completely). One end is stabilized mode (like Safe with bank limitations and auto level). Other end is optimized mode which is like AS3X for assisting with wind. I have had a good experience with both Reflex and Vector gyros so far.
