I was fleeced by this ludicrous charge, im an out of towner on a day trip and had no idea about this bridge, my dated sat nav took me that way, of course when one us driving at speed slowing down to look at small print for charges is impossible and sadly it was to late to take an alternative route, i got charged both ways £44, its soured my visit and I wont go again, Sadly many people visiting will avoid going to meaning lost revenue to the local economy, I was fully expecting a pay booth but on not seeing any thought the charges were waved for what ever reason, This is a stealth Dick Turpin robbery, im very bitter.

Must be costing Stobarts depot on the otherside in Widnes a small fortune in truck and trailer movements over that New bridge! Yes i can feel a small well of tears building up in my eyes.......................................NOT ;)
