The kid screaming possibly because of raised voices is NOT evidence of THREATENING OR ABUSIVE words or behaviour ... The cop should go to the alleged perpetrator and tell him that an allegation of assault has been made and he is being arrested on suspicion of assault and battery Then the statements can be taken. The alleged offender should be bailed pending investigation. This young cop is absolutely untrained.

It was unprofessional to have all that stuff (blankets or whatever it was) in the foyer whilst it was open to the public. The kiddie cop was unprofessional with the way he dealt with the issue. The female PC that told your assaulter to go was clearly heavily biased against you because she was triggered by you filming her. Very unprofessional. I am sick and tired of PIGS saying they can't investigate if they don't have your details. If a homeless person is murdered they will investigate even though they have no details of the victim. All they need to do is to give you a unique password in confidence, with them asking you to keep in contact with them with this password in order for them to take it to court. Them going down the Section 50 route was purely retaliation on their part because they personally didn't like you. Because you did not have the demeanour of licking their boots. All in all, it's fair to say that a Section 26 offence was committed by all the officers involved in this. Trouble is, we know that no legal action will taken against these criminal cops. Police earning the hate. Yet again.

I'm a retired Merseyside sergeant and I despair at the ignorance and arrogance shown by the ego driven paranoid current generation of officers. They seem to delight in being confrontational especially MATRIX officers (I wonder what bright spark thought that one up). They are rapidly following the MET with their feigned ignorance of the NPCC guidance on public photography. Section 50 (the policeman's friend) is used as a catch and let go ploy as there is seldom any possibility of charge being accepted let alone a prosecution.

Thanks for your comment, the detention Sergeant seemed annoyed at the charge but still he processed me with what he was told. In part 2 I am highlighting the inconsistencies of statements.. but what I found to be totally outrageous was the fact PC Fenney didn't even try to confirm from cctv that a crime had been committed. He point blank refused to do that. He was out of his depth and should of requested a station Sergeant to help out as he didn't know a squad car was coming until told 10 mins after I first reported what had happened. Also he valued the 'child' more than a victim of crime, especially as he didn't see the crime and the offender could have caused me an injury.. he did not once ask, how was I (if I'm OK) or do I need medical attention.

The Arresting offices gets on his radio to someone and goes outside, (so that whatever shit it is that he says cannot be overheard?) he then tells Mr Ski that he is under arrest. When later, (along with other collaborators) he is faced with a charge of Misconduct in Public Office via Malicious Prosecution he says, "My superior Officer told me to do it!" The Superior Officer says, "There was some confusion in the information that I was given over the radio as to what had actually occurred."! However getting away with this may not be as easy as they think! It's called, the overwhelming weight of circumstancial evidence!

It's really simple if you don't attract trouble, trouble will not follow. Assault is an ugly word and used in the wrong context quite often even it does mean unwanted contact by simply brushing past somebody. The moment this person screams assault it conjures visions of a serious attack when in reality all was hurt imo was his little ego or pride. For a grown man to ball in front of a mother and child is really a bad look for this person. His little ego was dented so he lost all rationale and common sense imo. Again the Police were assertive and did their job without bias.
