A great manager with unmatched record. He was rather dull and could be offhand at times - not charismatic at all but that was his generation!

Bob Paisley did deserve a knighthood. No doubt about that. Fergie did deserve his not for political activities but for being a managerial great at home and abroad for Aberdeen and Manchester United. Bobby Charlton is the only Englishman who has won the world cup, the European Cup and been the European footballer of the year.He has been nothing but a credit for football and England.
