I think I want this guy on every trip I take, seems like a great person to have on the boat!

I enjoy watching Cameron guide. He is very educational as he gets his clients on fish.

I took a trip with Cameron and it was amazing. River blown out, his addicted friends were laughing at him for trying before the seminar down in southern Wa. I caught a monster wild hen. He taught me how to bobber dog.

They are I my opinion the hardest fish to set the hook on. I went 1 for 8 one trip last year

In the episode 12s and 14s are being used. The fish aren't biting the Spin N Glo, it's just an attractor so larger sizes might work well also. www.anglerwesttv.com/spin-n-glo.aspx

Using downriggers with barbed hooks is a much easier affair.

What is the fastest you would go with those flashers with a spoon and a spin glo
@AnglerWestTV3 жыл бұрын
Maybe 1.5mph. Typically a little slower. They will start to spin at higher speeds and usually, especially when the water is cool, the fish like slower speeds. When the water warms up try trolling faster with a Sling Blade that can handle faster speeds.

so why downriggers if the fish are at the surface?
@AnglerWestTV5 жыл бұрын
The Kokanee are very spooky, especially on calm days. By dropping your lures a few feet under the surface, they might be a little less hesitant to bite. At least that's the theory.
@anothersomebody81955 жыл бұрын
I'd guess eagles can pick them off on calm days easier so staying just out of reach of a set of talons is in their best interest.

What size boat would be needed for Merwin reservoir and yale lake?
@danielcole86095 жыл бұрын
Most days only 12ft

Just watch the wind forecast....don't get caught out there in a small, or even medium boat with low freeboard on a windy day. It CAN get a bit scary and have heard of sunk boats.
