People don't want to spend the money for a 5 watt amp but they are worth it and you won't have this problem. The 5 watts will crank it out. My 5 Watt amps are 2 Fender 57 Tweed Champs 1200.00 each. A 5 Watt Fender Reverb champ 900.00 and a Magnatone 5 Watt at 1500.00. Yep that's 5000.00 but worth the. Better Tone. My Gig is a 12 Watt Fender Deluxe 57 Tweed Deluxe which is a monster of tone.

I ended up keeping this and it’s great at bedroom volumes even at 10 watts . If I add a tube screamer I got great metal sound at bedroom volume .

If it has an effects loop then get the Little Black Amp Box by JHS! Really cheap solution for playing in the bedroom

@@Disabledguitarist1985 No power needed, just goes into the loop that way you can get all the juice at bedroom levels and it doesn’t colour the sound 👍🏻

I had a 100/6- watt Mark IIb and no louder than 3 with the Master and 7 with the preamp. I always thought the amp sounds like a musical instrument on its own.

Tube amps just don’t work in a bedroom unless it’s 1 watt or under

@@Disabledguitarist1985 I was thinking of using the Weber Mini Mass Power Attenuator. I wish the amp was more like the gremlin and have a built in attenuator.

@@Disabledguitarist1985 What is funny is when i was young I did not care how loud an amp is, but now. I need the best amp for home and then one for the stage. The stage amp would not see much playing time for me and If I play at church, I am required to play quietly... which is not always easy, but doable. Some of the best sounding gigs I can remember is playing a very small club and just putting up the small amps and not micing the drums. Just keep your stage volume down and do your best to fit into the mix.

Get a decent attenuator. I use a Two Notes Captor X with my ROV25 in my townhouse. I use it even with 10watts so you can push the power tubes and get the dynamics that only really come out from them working hard.

I like playing Marshall and orange amps most . I’ll prob stick with them . Way cheaper too . Dsl 1 is like 300$
