I really love your videos and I will watch the Gondor tier list to understand what happened there ahah I'm still (very) noob in this game but when I saw that Boromir could be played with Aragorn, I immediately threw Boromir out of my list, but you did exactly the opposite! So I'm very curious to know why the experts made that decision :) Thanks!

@@TiagoRamosVideos Personally I agree with you if I can only take one of the two Big Heroes of Gonder 9/10 I'm picking Elessar not Boromir I'm taking just Boromir at 650 or lower where an Elessar army struggles to get so much need numbers but at like 700+ I personally am take Elessar F6, S4 (but that really doesn't matter), D7, 3A, 3W, C6, 3M, 3W, and 3F with Horse Lord on armored horse so no luck arrow is going to kill Roheryn (for books), Brego (for movies) and he has Andúril the Flame of the West making him wounded anything on a 4+ 3+ if your two handed he be like Azgo but for everything granted you don't always want to two-hand Andúril but let's say Gandalf Immobilize Bolg, or Azgo, or any other big hero and Elessar charges them 4A wounding on a 3+ yeah that hero is ether going to die or loss all their fate and still get a wound or Gandalf knocks them to the ground with blast that's 8A (if I remember right) wounding on a 3+ so they just die oh also Andúril is elven made so if you tie in the fight unless his opponent also got an elf blade he win the roll of on a 3+ too and he is and banner for himself and every good model in the game not just Gonder like Boromir every one Elves, Men, Dwarfs, even Hobbits, Eagles, Trees, and Bears he also gets a free point of might every turn so might is never really going to be a problem because you'll always have as long Elessar is around now at 1000 point where can have both Elessar and Boromir and/or Gandalf that's at the every least a fun list :)

Elendil's biggest weakness is his horse. He needs the mobility to make full use of his skills. This means the moment you fluff a fight roll, you're dumping all your might to fix it, because a clever opponent will immediately go for your horse. You can mitigate this by being conservative in your engagements, but it's a huge huge weakness to consider. If he loses the horse early, you are in huge trouble

Yeah absolutely, no hero is perfect, every mounted hero in the game has that same issue honestly, but if he stays mounted and you play him right he literally does win games all on his own -Liam

I took the Fellowship to a doubles tourney and we fought Bolg. Gandalf gave him fits and he got 0 kills in Contest of Champions. Y’all are spot on with his weakness to magic

Gully being a spirit hero does mean he activates terror on Orcs. It doesn't immediately sync with his assassination role, but in combination with harbingers and a few well placed orcs cogging space, it can actually be a very useful bonus

Only one way to know for sure. Make a 500pt army around each hero. Have each play eachother. Have to be best of 3 to be sure too. With 18 heroes/armies that’s like…a bajillion games. So much content.

justice for gorulf! definitely needs to be higher. okay F5 or D5 isn't the best (also not exactly bad. looking at you, ingold/gulevar/mahud/bitchking) but you need to consider what he does and the armies he does it in and the cost he does it at. isengard and dunland both lack really big fighters. F5 D5 is pretty universal across both lists named heroes. gorulf is THE only viable combat response either one has for something like a balrog/boromir/elendil etc. the fact that you can negate something worth multiple times his cost for potentially whole games for 70 points and zero might spend is bonkers good. combo that with good killing power and three might to spend on other stuff (like strike or move) for only 15 points above a generic chieftain? in C? come on lads. as for getting shot, stick him behind a warrior until it's combat range. this makes him tankier against arrows than gulevar, and unlike the big bat he doesn't get shitter when he's wounded either.

reason i keep mentioning gulavhar, have fought angmar twice with my dunland. both times gorulf has killed him almost solo (arrow took a wound in 1st game, frida support for two rounds in second)

People: “Glorfindel won’t get shutdown my magic” true but he will get shutdown by quite a few standard warriors. Needing 5s or even 6es on an expensive beat-stick hero will slow him down and make him fluff wound rolls.

@NoobsandMen Just curious though, what changed you guys' opinion on Glorfindel? In the Rivendell video, he was put at the top of S tier. With some funny remarks, like if you don't agree, we'll fight you in it depending if I'm at work or not. Too bad about this profile, though. Killing a Balrog and singlehandedly scaring all 9 should warrant for a better profile. Some +1 modifier and a higher fight of at least 8 if not higher. Or something like a bigger standfast, banner for the troops, small fearless bubble. Ya know some sort of fancy extra things to make him seem like the mighty elf lord he is. I mean, he is one of if not the most skilled fighter in the third age.

We both never played rivendell much at that point. Even in my 13 yr of the game I played rivendell once but it was a last alliance list. Both fell for the trap of he looks really good on paper and in theory. Then you start using him and realize it just doesn't pan out the way you expect him to. People can change, and with the correct information We have seen the error of our way and hold firm Glorf is trash.

Bolg should be B tier. I have played him a bunsh of times and half of them he did nothing. With only one fate, he can be killed rather quick if the enemy can get some wounds on him. Mayby it is just my bad luck with him, but he does not want to win heroic combats for me most of the time😂. He also kind of need master of battle, without he has problems. Also the army around him is kind of bad.

He definitely requires a little finesse, but piloted well with decent rolls and he's a freight train on the field. His army is subpar to make up for how good him and Azog are -Liam
