hi, thanks for the tutorial, would this software be able to give me the possibilty to save the polys into dxf or dwg files? I would like to make a model into lowpoly then cut them out in metal and make an actual sculpture. please let me know, thanks!

There's an older app from Autodesk called "Slicer" that does exactly what you're describing. You could export the decimated model from here and upload it into that program and be good to go!

how come when i import any mesh its a dull grey colour not a nice shiny model like yours :( and its all smooth .. with no facets

Sure! You can always undo, or import a model and do a sub-divide to increase the triangle count!

(solved - press space while editing your model. then chose the second option in under "mesh") same dude. my model looks like a$$. you can barely tell it has outlines in at these percentages. but if i bring it into a slicer or cad it looks fine. did you figure it out? :D
