My dear sister in Messiah, I just found your website and it is a blessing. You and your husband are great parents. I was born into a Jewish family and I became Messianic on Jan. 16th, 1974. I have been a missionary and church planter for the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches. My dad was OK with my new faith in Messiah the remainder of the family, not so much. message me if you wish David Aaron Sobel. Blessings Sis, I look forward to hearing from you. I am a grandfather of 11with two grandsons with challenges. Thank You Again, David Aaron Sobel

What is the best flour to make unleavened bread with 😬
@LivingWithEve3 жыл бұрын
I don’t know, I’ve done almond flour but I know people have used wheat. And I know some say to stay away from wheat but I think it really comes down to how it is processed. It have to be cooked fast and hot. Most processed wheat is not done that way.
@graftedin19213 жыл бұрын
@@LivingWithEve Thank you! I used wheat, however made it in under 18 minutes .... I don't know!! YHWH bless you and your beautiful family ❤️

Hey Leila, im curious about how do the feast of unleavened bread and firstfruits fit with passover? Sources are very messy online, and it seems all 3 at merged together as 1 since theyre all right after another (if im not mistaken) ?
@LivingWithEve3 жыл бұрын
Passover is the14th day of Nissan or the first day and it’s only 1 day, unleavened bread starts the 15 and last for 7 days. First fruit is not a feast, but it is the first day of counting the Omer for 50 days. It starts the day after Shabbat. But there is a debate on when it actually start between the sadducees and Pharisees . But I lean more with the Pharisees because the Holy Spirit fell according to the pharisee calendar (traditionally).

So I will be counting day 1 today of the Omer.

I'm new to this so I was wondering if you throw away all the leaven items or do you just take it out of the house and put it in another building or what? For some people that's a lot of groceries.
@LivingWithEve2 жыл бұрын
So we’ve actually been planning to get rid of the leaven all month. So we didn’t buy any more leaven and we’ve been eating it for the past four weeks. So when it comes time to celebrating Passover, any Leaven that is left in the house we actually burn, which honestly isn’t much. If you want a neighbor to hold onto it or I know some people will put it into their garage. God knows your heart.

What scripture states to remove the wheat and oats, etc? Matzos bread is made with wheat…..so that’s incredibly confusing.
@LivingWithEve9 ай бұрын
It doesn’t say wheat it says leaven. A leaven is simply the agent that causes a bread or other baked item to rise. It can be a chemical agent like baking powder, or it can be a type of yeast.
@karentucker2161 Жыл бұрын
Why not just not eat it during the time period? Just curious.
@LivingWithEve Жыл бұрын
You mean the week of Unleavened Bread, after Passover? Because in Lev 23:6 it say to eat only unleavened bread.

Happy Passover to you and your family. 😊 I’m wondering is pasta allowed in the house?
@LivingWithEve3 жыл бұрын
It depends who you ask. I generally stay away from it if there is either Wheat, barley, spelt, oatmeal or rye.
