No offence, my favorite part of this video is Wes showing up at the end. OLF is doing alot of work in the fields and it is a good thing for Messicks that he comes home to buy parts from you. Good luck to both of you!

Our dealership has sold several Terra King TK4314 drop spreaders for our Steiner 440 and 450's. This is the first time i'm seeing the Catcher, but if it's built like their spreaders, the customers who buy them will love them .

I have a GCK60-24b grass catcher on my Kubota B7500 and just love it. I finally had to replace the belt for the first time in 18 years which I mail my ordered from you guys just recently. I just wish there was a way to empty the clippings from the seat. Only downside is when picking up leaves it would be better if it shredded the leaves a lot finer. Are there any blades that might work better with this setup for shredding leaves? Still, anything is better than manually raking no matter how many times I have to get on and off the tractor!😬

blades that mulch more tend to have less air flow and thus a higher risk of clogging the tubes.
@wildbill23c4 жыл бұрын
@@MessicksEquip Could you run 2 blades on the Kubota mower deck? I know many of the commercial walk behind and ride on mowers you can double blade them which if that's possible on a Kubota deck may be a solution. If it is leave the factory blades and add a set of mulching blades from like Gator Blades, and it may sold the customer's issue.

So is that impeller housing radius really made out of aluminum like the box?? Because that's the way it appears. And if it is made out of steel, what gauge is it? What would we need to make it work on a B2601? Do you have a boot for the (2020) B2601 60" drive over deck?

How do you lower the mower without dropping the hopper too low?
@alanbiggs31254 жыл бұрын
This is a few months old, so don't know if you'll see this or not. I have a question concerning the hookup. You attached this on the three point hitch with a quick hitch. I like that, but how does it deal with raising and lower the mower deck since the 3 point hitch and the mower deck lift arms work together? I have a Kubota bagger and while it works OK putting it on is a real pain and they have the 3 point lift arms disabled so the bagger stays stationary when you raise and lower the deck. Aside from that if you've developed a really easy way to install the factory bagger I'd really like to see that! And thanks for the videos, they've been very helpful as has your parts service!
@wildbill23c4 жыл бұрын
Seems like a great bagging option, although expensive, however with that blower assembly being a part of the bagger and the electric dump actuator, and mounting hitch makes so much sense. Something for me to keep in mind. Another mid/rear PTO position usage. So, with that, the BX2380 for example has a PTO HP rating of 17.7HP. Is that just the rear PTOHP? Or is that the PTO rating for the Mid and Rear, and does that number get split in half for these times where both of the PTO's are used at the same time?

@@MessicksEquip Ok, so the 17.7HP would not be split if I were running a mid and rear PTO attachment at the same time?

You'd need some creativity with the boot, but yes. The Kubota boot would not work, I've gotten them from Trac-Vac before and done this sort of thing.

@@MessicksEquip it would be great to see a comparison with the kubota bagger system, namely capability for fall clean up and leaf removal. The TK is 2x the cost of the OEM bagger system (not including shipping). I see the benefits of the larger capacity, fill sensor and electronic dump capability. TK also looks to be better build quality. I’m evaluating if said features make up for the cost and install (shortening PTO shaft, running wires etc.). Thanks for your consideration

One cubic foot bag of yard-waste compost costs $5.95 here. If you have fruit trees or a garden with wide rows then you can easily make the catcher valuable. Composting grass clippings takes up a lot of space but there is no better plant food on the planet.
