The Ayton warthog could actually fight effectively the video I got most of the information I have is from a person named laser pig, but you can look for other sources if you want to.

2:10 One could argue that the first nonstop, no-refuelling circumnavigation of the Earth was actually flown on 12th April 1961, by Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin

28:07 i spent the last 100 game hours making a plane that did circumnavigation in just 11 hours. it was massive had even more massive droptanks that were bigger than the plane itself and i didn't really like it. fast forward 2 days and im on a train to reno for vacation. i take out my steam deck and start making a u2 spyplane replica from memory (no wifi for refrences) i ended up with a plane that could do circumavigation in 72 hours..... one engine tweak later and it can do it in just over 10hours without massive droptanks. needless to say i was a bit mad at myself... didn't do it with a soft joint tho so kudos there!

I always heard that we discoverd the earth was round by viewing ships on the horizon. When I ship was was coming into view the first thing you would always see was the sails, then later the hull and the opposite for when a ship was leaving over the horizon. Then again I've heard about 100 different stories on how our ancestors discovered that the Earth was round.
@danilooliveira658011 ай бұрын
its impossible to know, some people just seemed to assumed the earth was round in the classical era just like we do today. the reason why is forever lost to us. the story Messier told is just the first time we calculated the circumference, what means they already knew the earth was round.

The Flying wing can fly, longer, higher, and faster, but with one problem, there needs to be computers to stabilize the Aircraft, where as normal Aircraft can fly normally, there's an advantage of stealth, as no tail wings mean no useless surface, vortices are STOPPED with upgrades that most airliners use to save billions of dollars

Since the blended wing design tends to put the center of mass and the center of lift really close to the back of the aircraft wouldn't a canard configuration help with pitch controllability? Maybe it's just me but if I look at this aircraft and think of how to put the elevators as far as possible from the pivot point the front of the plane seems just natural.

2:08 Some major errors here. First, the plane is named for Burt Rutan, its designer. The Rutan who flew it was his brother, Dick. But the much more serious error is your assertion is that Voyager's record for nonstop unrefueled circumnavigation still stands. In 2005, Steve Fossett flew the Global Flyer (also designed by Burt Rutan) around the planet in just 2 days, 19 hours. And yes, it was a solo flight.

I've attempted it! I attempted a VF-1 Valkyrie, and it can transform! I'll tell you now, it flies perfectly fine as a fighter (one of the best ones I've made so far infact) but the second it gets into Gerwalk (if flying or on the ground) it goes horribly wrong and has no clue what to really do, often just falling over or spinning uncontrollably. If someone better at Flyout than me attempts it, it might work and be usable, but it's definitely somewhat possible.
