Uh ds1 shows the final boss in the intro cinematic, Bloodborne introduces you to the final boss in a trailer as does Sekiro. Ds3 has the final boss on the cover 💀. Literally only ds2 and Elden ring never spoiled the final boss.

Dark Souls 2 : nothing shown Dark Souls 3 : absolutely no one knows that the guy on the cover of the game is the final boss. And nothing in the trail. Bloodborne : we see it two seconds in the trailer and we do not distinguish well seen that it is ultra dark and nobody thinks that it is the final boss. Sekiro : the only soul game I haven’t made yet, so I can’t say anything but I believe you. Elden Ring : nothing shown And for the DLC of Elden Ring, Messmer is so present in the different trailers that I was sure that they were not going to put him as final Boss like that. It would have ruined the fun in you want my opinion ^^

By the time you reach last boss you can have a totally broken build and seeds at max 20 but most stumble into mesmer at +6 or +7 if wanna be a gamer and not use summons/spirits makes mesmer the hardest challange

imo, it's because they have an audience. There's much more pressure to try to "do it solo," than not. I personally watch WoolieVS. He's slow since he plays with a co-host, has a limited recording schedule, and often takes his time learning the mechanics, but he show a great amount of respect towards the game and engages with it and the store/lore. These bigger streamers don't learn the mechanics either because of Pride, Ego, or laziness.

@@chero666 it’s purely pride and ego for the most part. They hear all the toxic “strength only, no summons” bs from other players and think they have to do it too. Like nah, get cheesy. Use ailments, use status effects, use summons. The game gives you them for a reason and it’s to use them and try them out

So I’m more of a different mindset I don’t mind summons I’ll use them but the biggest gripe I have with summons personally is when the fight is over quickly and then it’s like what did I learn? What did I achieve? Answer is nothing. I didn’t get to see the full arsenal and moveset. Now of course this isn’t every fight and I sparingly use the summons. But now for Mesmer… yeah he easy 10 tries no summons. Just bonk and chug.

I really don't know how this will go for me. The weird thing about Elden Ring is that the bosses we each struggle are different, vastly so at times. So if you haven't reached Messmer yet people, remember that your expectations one way or the other may not be met.

All the fights were top tier. I do appreciate the latest patch nerfing hippo and gaius spawns. Any time after the first encounter they rushed the door. Basically had to get rng to not die right away after getting eaten or roll caught

i did the entire DLC on journey 4, no fragments (apart from final boss which i used fragments on), the only boss that i didnt enjoy, was pumba, but with messmer, and pretty much every other boss, i gladly, and happily, did almost 10+ hours on each of them, and messmer was my favourite boss out of the lot, i absolutely loved him, he is peak boss design that fromsoft has created. oh yea, i didnt rage once, because on the difficulty im on, you expect to die a lot, and i think thats what most people dont fathom, is that you are NEVER going to own a boss on your first try, not without some OP cheese, or some insane dumb luck, but if you take each death in your stride, and take away something from each encounter, such as learning how to avoid a move, or where to capitalize on damage, or being aggressive enough to cause a stagger or stat proc, actually LEARN the fights, then it simply cant be beat, and as a result, i was left at the peak of my euphoria, i did the gaming equivalent of edging, and it never gets old :D I want to go Home, and then, Edge

Given player whoever that is is just that a singular person who most likely is not good at the game but through sheer perseverance they beat it. And that’s their average because let’s say a few bosses took 200+ tries. So therefore the given players average performance is 177 deaths. For them not bad for most excruciatingly terrible.

@@abel3557 you dont need cheese builds, attack windows available for player is so big after he attacks its practically free, and unlike most other bosses its really easy to tell when he's going to attack
