@PendalMarks do you also support the stores that have staff checking your receipts before they let you exit? what if they also wanted you to empty your pockets and open your purse? Do you think that this is an effective deterrent to shoplifting? I'm curious. by accusing the DT Corp of understaffing which in turn results in messy stores, you are absolving DT customers of any responsibility they have to behave as humans with manners and not wild monkeys, and to be respectful of DT staff and other customers. That absolution of responsibility - or the lack of consequences for bad behavior only results in worse and more instances of bad behavior. It won't be until our society once again holds ourselves accountable for our own actions as well as encouraging our families, friends and neighbors to be accountable for their actions, as well, that we can go out with expectations of excellent service, clean and well stocked retail outlets, safe streets, etc. That won't happen if people don't change but DT does hire one or even two sadly underpaid, unenthusiastic employees who make it obvious to everyone that they would rather be anywhere else than working at DT. But ofc, that's just mho.

Look into insurance coverage for things like washable incontinence pads, depends, or check sheets too. Insurance should have a book of what all they provide, otherwise you could call your insurance sales person and find out, even if they are poor they’re probably still our benefits available to you if you talk to a social worker. 💕 God bless you I spend many hours taking care of my mom(and four children as a betweener millennial), it’s pretty exhausting, I could use some prayers, I’ll be praying for you too.

I love using the little rinestones that are normally for nails on craft projects instead. I can sometimes even find Chrome powder in those areas as well and while there isn't a lot in them, the normal prices for chrome powder on line is crazy. If you do miniture painting or just want to gild a frame with just a little bit of silver chrome, its actually the perfect amount. Also adding Coconut milk and a little spice to Ramen plus some frozen veggies and you have a really awesome fast and simple meal on a budget for when your rushing around. I just want to say, please be kind to those who work in these stores even if the place might be a mess. Sometimes its because the store is not getting enough hours or they don't have enough workers. It isn't always because the workers aren't doing their job, sometimes its cause so much is put on their shoulders that they can't finish everything they are supposed to do.

One of my best DT finds--those tall metal paper towel holders. In our garage we have wire shelf units. I zip tie the holder anywhere on the shelf I need it to create "book end style" separations on the shelf to keep things in order. Here is a couple more tips: • Use the reacher grabber bar in your garden. I recently used mine to bring stems of my raspberry bush closer and to hold onto the stems as I picked the berries • get some picnic table cloth weights and clip them onto the bottom of your large sheets and towels when you hang them on a clothes line, in order to prevent them from wrapping around the clothes line. This is not a foolproof idea, especially on seriously windy days. But you can clip on multiple weights to each item depending on how windy it is

We used to tease him because he had them everywhere, behind the seat of his ElCamino, in the bed of his farm work pickup, hanging in his equipment service shop, in the broom closet in his kitchen and more! Back then I was young enough to hop on the counter to get those high dishes or laundry stuff....he loved them! He even took them into the grocery store when shopping, in later years he had one velcro strapped to his seat/walker, total strangers at the auctions, even had him grab things for them too. Now I get it jumping on the counters isn't so easy anymore, he would have loved the cheap dt price too, I can't imagine more in his universe... I miss you Dad!

My friend with a stored RV over the summer chops up Irish Spring, puts quite a bit of chips of it in cupcake papers all over... drawers, cupboards, along the entrance. Keeps out the mice. Not sure why but it can only be irish Spring. Works better than moth balls (which I find don't actually work) Personally I wouldn't be able to use the RV without a LOT of airing out. But if you like the smell and hate mice? Why not. And NO one wants mice in an RV, cleanup of that on all surfaces is much worse than picking up cupcake papers of Irish Spring!

I use the "dirty" DTs for stuff that's sold old, because they tend to stock slower and have less traffic😉 Con of having a great store is stuff is sold old before creators see and come up with amazing ideas for them😢❤🙏🏾

What's a pilot DT store?
@Cheray_6 ай бұрын
@@mariah12809 A store where they try new stuff at to see customer reaction. Ours got the full line of Crafters Square around 2019 and based on sales at these stores, they decide if they want to roll stuff out to all the stores or not. It's a high-performing and very well-stocked store. 😉

@@mariah12809 pilot stores have things that other dollar trees don’t have, they test products in the stores and see if they are sustainable over time to keep in stores.

You can use that grabber to open.Shut your curtains if you can't reach them if they're behind furniture. We use them to open and Shut our light-colored curtains to keep them cleaner. You don't have hands touching them all the time.

My small dog gets out under the chain link fence. Extend the fence with DT cooling racks and 5:20 attach with zip ties. Had damage to the front of my car, used DT flexible cutting boards and flex tape to cover the area until we could get it repaired.

Hey Kathryn, I was so excited for the shout out. Please use a pair of pliers to twist those zip ties. They will smoothly snap off. ❤😊

As a man who uses Dollar Tree zip ties on a regular basis, I just tried this and it does not work lol Even if you twist it fully off with pliers, instead of a long sharp edge, you now get a small sharp twisted end that can still cut you.
@paulamurray82556 ай бұрын
My husband uses zip ties on a daily so he taught me this trick….it does work you just have to make sure your twist is right against the catch. Have never been cut since he taught me this !

The rolling chair can be used to carry boxes or even things like heavy binders. I discovered this when I was pregnant. Younger children love rides in the rolling chair or stroller rides through the house. Is it hot outside? Give stroller rides around the house. Not a dollar tree idea but I saw them doing this at my son’s daycare.

Love watching your videos. I've been doing diy's for years and there are always new ideas we can pick up or improve on. I also love upcycling clothes, furniture, decorations. Anything that can be reuse. My grandmother taught me that, just because something is made for one thing, doesn't mean you can't make it into something else. I'm doing the same with my granddaughter. It's so much fun. Thank you for sharing. 😊 Blessings 😊

Katherine I actually use the doggie nail clippers in the kitchen. When I make kabobs for my family I will use the clippers to shorten the skewers a little to fit inside our Ninja foodie grill. It’s really easy compared to my kitchen scissors. (yes I grill outside without cutting them down but sometimes weather doesn’t allow for outdoor grilling)

Any type of shaving cream that foams well: during bath time, when my daughters were young, I would put shaving cream on the walls and let them rub it around and then draw or write in it with their fingers. When they were done, I would rinse everything down and I always had sparkling clean shower walls.

Kathryn, we live in the same town and I have looked everywhere for the bird wallpaper. You must either go further afield or there's a DT I haven't found yet! lol When I do find the wallpaper it's going in my powder room and my closet. It's beautiful! I also need to look for the grabbers. I have one - it's soooo handy - but I could use several so I don't have to run from room to room looking for it. And I'm so glad the school supplies are showing up. They have a storage box, about 8x11 with an attached locking lid. I make cards and use them to keep all my supplies for each card design together. Now as soon as I have a design in mind I put stamps, dies, and paper in a box and label it. No more searching for supplies when I'm ready to work.

OK yes I love the show. I wanted to chime in because I wanted to add that with the grabber behind the washer -great idea I use it myself however, I don’t want to bend over my washer. It’s too big. So I get a mirror and I hold it in my hand and I look down there and see what’s down there before I go after it. Lol and also your little macramé with the wooden peg, I use those for my birds they love them.

I make my husband lean over and he still has to use the grabber. I am 5 feet tall (grabbers in all rooms) and anyone taller is "tall". But, a mirror would work! Thank you.
