In which I mow tall grass. I think you know the drill at this point.
Answers to common questions in the video if you watch it, or down below if you read the description. Also timestamps for this overgrown lawn (tall grass, oddly satisfying, mowing the lawn, this part is just for the algorithm) which is the full length version of a sped up video released a month or so ago. Get a snack and drink for this one, it is feature length.

Q: What mower are you using?
A: BOB-CAT QuickCat 36" Stand on Mower (bit.ly/BCBrad )
Q: What other equipment are you using?
A: ECHO 58v PAS with edger, HART 40v string trimmer, STIHL BR800 blower.
Q: Why aren't you using the white Bobcat ZS4000?
A: This was filmed several months ago before the demo started.
Q: Why are you wearing a mask?
A: Grass, dust, dirt, and pollen don't belong in your lungs.
Q: Why don't you stripe the grass when mowing?
A: It isn't a big deal down here, this grass was cut at either 3 or 3.5 inches which is too short to really stripe, and because making a KZbin video like this means moving the camera a lot and chopping up the yard into sections rather than long straightaways.
Q:Why don't you bag the grass after mowing?
A: I don't have to here in North Florida. It biodegrades and provides nitrogen to the lawn. The University of Florida even recommends it, so if you want to say I am wrong, feel free to address it with their agricultural extension offices.
Q: Why do you use a stand on mower?
A: I like it better than sit down, feel more productive, it is shorter with no blind spot, quicker to get on/off, lots of things like that.
Q: If I were you I would have XYZ instead of you doing ABC.
A: Thank you for letting me know. Much of why I do what I do is based on my local geography and climate, which is likely different than yours, or because I am making KZbin videos, which means I do things MUCH different than regular lawn care guys.
Q: Why did you use tool XYZ instead of tool ABC?
A: Because I don't own tool ABC or don't want to use it. The tools I use work just fine (otherwise I wouldn't use them).
Q: You should do XYZ instead of ABC.
A: Not a question, but I get what you mean. Odds are whatever you are recommending is not going to work for me because of where I am in the country versus where you are, the fact that my main goal is to make KZbin videos that entertain, or because I am a solo operator with different business goals than you.

Hey Brad, from Copper Creek Cuts! You should do a video on what to do in your yard before bringing out a professional (i.e. what to pick up, put away, any tree advice if it won't be a part of the service). General stuff that would help YOU when you go to a property. Thanks for the content!

I'm sitting here at 2:47am waiting for the next hour to pass so that I can run water through my faucets, tub, and shower to make sure they do not freeze. I have already three lines into the house that have frozen. It's 7 degrees heading to 4 degrees and we have a chill factor of -11 degrees. Whoops! Update. -12 degrees. We have snow for the third time in the last four weeks and no one here ever remembers it snowing twice in the same winter. This global warming is killing me. Now, back to the show. Gosh...with all the lawns that have been edged right here on youtube, it's hard to believe that there's any overgrown lawns left to edge and trim. And as for that fence line... You guessed it, i'm still thinking you could use one of those wheeled trimmer devices. They'd power through that in a jiffy! If I had the money I'd send one to you, to try out.

I like your videos, wish you had time to put out more. Even though this is an old video, it’s a good one. I live just south of you in central east Fl. I know St Aug grass and it’s tough. I use an Echo 225 edger (combi) and I have a new Stihl fs94 which I really love! That little hart isn’t too bad. Personally I hate guards and I would take that one off so fast. Just a tad more line and you could get that grass stuck in the corners of those outer fence posts. I know your by the book though...

What ever you used looks to work good in the tall grass. Last question. I am very impressed with that 36 inch bob cat. Do you know if Doosan is going to make any changes to the 36 inch similar to the 4000 model - with the deck hand controls?.Enjoyed the video. Oh do you still have the 48 inch demo?
