Yes, there is a sidewalk under there. Also yes, you saw a 22 minute version of this a year ago.
Initial service, real time, raw audio, with pop up video style trivia and some goofing around by me. This video was filmed in November of 2019. You have seen this lawn one time before, I think titled something to do with House Flipper in Real Life, but that was a sped up version and this is the full length version. I am trying to get all of last season's stuff done and published to make way for the new videos coming.
This service was before I had the white Bobcat ZS4000 48" or the new TORO 2000 60", so that is why I am using the older green BOB-CAT 36". I still have that mower to this day, and have to use it on several yards with tiny back gates. Something in the ignition system died, and it is currently in the shop for repairs. (Turning the key would turn the engine over VERY slowly and then not at all. I replaced the battery, worked fine. Fast forward a few months, same thing. Maybe the key is sticking and leaving it 'on' and draining the battery? Maybe the starter needs replaced? We will see). UPDATE: Ended up just needing a new battery.

I really enjoy those moments when you walk up to the camera and give us a thumbs-up or other expression. It puts a face on the job and makes it more than a robotic pacing of the property. The post of your Q&A session in the garage was fabulous. I now feel as though I’m beginning to know you through your camera presence. It isn’t just about manicuring lawns, pressure washing, or hedge trimming. It’s also about Brad the husband, dad, entrepreneur, and the craftsman. Kudo’s for a life well-lived!

Bought an edger a couple days ago and already put 12 hours of runtime on it just on my driveway and sidewalk, and I'm still not done! We have maybe 120 meters of sidewalk (double that to account for both sides of it) plus our driveway. Nobody has taken care of this lawn in... decades? Most of the overgrowth is hanging 8"+ into the sidewalk with massive buildups of dirt underneath. Many sections I've done has left a dirt wall like 2" high before the grass starts, I'm hoping that won't damage the grass there or cause future problems. So far I've filled up three large trash cans (like the city pickup ones) with grass and dirt clumps from this, and I still have another 50' or so to go before I'm done. Already wore one blade out and working on the second one, what a pain!

2 questions. 1 about video production and 1 about equipment. 1. Have you ever considered using multiple cameras set up to minimize your time moving them into place? Obviously finances would play a major role in this question. Would such an option even be beneficial in regards to making filming easier? 2. What's your expert opinion on battery powered edger attachments? Sorry, technically 3 questions.

Isn’t it wonderful that people can sit behind a screen and keyboard in the comfort of their own home and tell you how you should be doing your job?!?! Everyone has preferences. Every yard is different...wet spots, type of grass and weeds, and so much more. Each person is different, too, with arm strength, back or shoulder issues, etc. that they accommodate with different equipment, processes, grip, stance, etc. Obviously some people just need to be control of others and have nothing better to do than direct someone else on a job they are not a part of.

A thing I've been wondering about is, would it not be better to shoot out clipping at the back of the mower rather than the side? It feels like it would be a lot easier to ground it down for mulching instead of leaving one strip empty and also filling up the uncut parts with clippings.
