If you ever have questions, read the description. I spend a lot of time on them to answer questions you may have.

Another great video. Keep up the good work. Sorry for the Karens in the comment section. Even if those clippings lead to thatch, I don't think these clients would care as long as their grass isn't a foot long. I never bag yards that overgrown because it's a waste of time and money as you said.

518 views and only 75 likes...JEEZE FOLKS!!! Brad earned every bit of this one!!! I don't blame you a bit for dropping this one Brad. Too much to mow around in the back yard and to be honest, the Bobcat is too big for the yard anyways. It was the correct tool in the shed considering how much horsepower it takes to mow overgrown grass like that one, but now that it is manageable even the local high schooler with a hand mower and equipment and a desire to make a great business could take care of this yard. Nice job Brad and kudos for honoring a contract/promise. Many other contractors would have left that one in the first hour, I figure that one took at least 2.5 not including the time to film it. How many batteries did the Hart trimmer need to pull that one off?. Also is the Sthil edger getting a little bit worn out? It sounds like the bearings in the motor are giving away..
@miachlecoker36344 жыл бұрын
I agree totally Matt. I think his clutch is getting worn. Its a combi unit and the different torque for the various attachments are demanding. I heard the unit roaring and it look like the blade was barely moving. He did a good job!
@Sara-L4 жыл бұрын
Ah, I remember this yard! ;) One of these days Brad, you'll buckle down and grab yourself one of those walk behind trimmers for massively overgrown properties. You can walk-behind trim the whole property, and then go back with a backpack blower and get all the debris out in one go. That way you don't sacrifice your blades on hidden dangers! Would be great on those hot summer days where you really don't want to spend too much time outside of your air conditioned mobile office.

I like seeing the crisp definition with a gap between the cement and grass. In my opinion the edger blade does the best to create the gap initially and then using the string trimmer for weekly maintaining.

Why don't you bag your clippings? Hey, seriously, I think you need to return to that job and touch up that corner at 44:33 . I got the feeling your heart wasn't really into it. But seriously, really, I bet if you'd had the Echo you'd have missed the Hart if for only it's light weight. Seems like a great tool and you gave it a solid torture test. It's on my short list thanks to you. Lastly, I winced at where you were in the alley area and that side discharge blasting everywhere. I've mentioned before (I'm sure it's in your notes) I run an Exmark Radius S rear-discharge for 2 seasons now (I'm only a full price paying customer, no other connection). I don't know why the idea of rear discharging clippings hasn't caught on. I notice very little to no winrows, and I have an even tighter zone, between a pool and 50' of fence with plantings that I can now easily just pass through without needing to return with a blower or the leaf rake for the pool. And it handles a couple acres with speed and aplomb. Thanks for sharing (and I suggest viewing at 2x). And a Happy Thanksgiving for all Americans. Please remember how it started.
