It fits the folklore involving Yuki-Onna as well. While Yuki-Onna can be either benevolent (they will attempt to help and save people who are at risk of dying in a blizzard or snowstorm, just like how these two first met) or malevolent (they will actively do the opposite and try to lure humans into getting lost in a blizzard/snowstorm so that they freeze to death), there are stories of Yuki-Onna marrying human men and being very loyal and loving wives (just don't be unfaithful to them, as they can be terrifyingly vindictive when angered and betrayed in such a way).

If not for Amane Fujimiya and Mahiru Shiina, I would say that Masayuki Muroi and his Yuki-Onna are the best couple of this season. They certainly deserve their own light romantic comedy/slice of life show. A rom-com about their married life would be interesting purely due to the charisma of the characters and funny situations and dialogues, without all sorts of melodramas and detective stories.
