The down order states on Page 73 that units can retain their down order at the end of the turn and start their next turn down. And states that thee a unit doing this looses all pins immediately. It doesn't say anything there about needing to be down for an entire turn prior to losing the pins.

Don't under estimate Recce trucks and Cars it helps soft skins and their passengers stay alive. Also look up the new recce rules you don't have to move away from an enemy shooting at you so can move closer to an objective. Its +10pts to make each of your transports Recce. Also with recce 1 infantry squad required per 1 anti tank, worth considering if none Soviet nation.

OMG, my initial grumbles with v.3 are born out..... it's a real mixed bag, some great changes from 2nd ed, some are too much
