This is so insightful. Really love the solution ideas and how they prioritized them!

How much time can one roughly pause for as they move to another section of the structure response ?

For this question would it make sense to have an overall engagement metric that we want to improve and then start working towards it or do metric at the end of the?

Great mock interview. It would have been beneficial to talk about my we did not focus on groups members.

The candidates seem to know the questions before hand and appear to be reading from a script . Could you host a few mock interviews where candidates do not know the questions and manage impromptu ? The community will benefit from learning how some of the experts handle problems when they do not know them beforehand. That will also show us what's the passing bar .

Hi AGtech, thanks for your feedback. We wanted our interviewees to give very high quality answers, so yes we do tell them the question beforehand. We felt that seeing a 'best-in-class' answer is more helpful to someone preparing than an 'off-the-cuff' answer, even if the latter is more realistic. However, I completely see your point and agree that doing it unseen could also be worth doing. I'll keep it in mind for future mock interview videos. thanks!

@@IGotAnOfferPM This absolutely makes sense. Please DO NOT change this format. While the OP has a fair point, I have learned a great deal from such prepped mock interviews.
@maferarroyom4 ай бұрын
@@IGotAnOfferPM I still like this format because the quality of the answers of the interviewees is TOP compared to other videos out there so a lot to learn from. Completely agree with your point on 'best-in-class'.

This can’t have been unscripted. Was way too polished. Can we set realistic expectations?

It was contradictory when she mentioned Groups are in a mature state yet she wanted to optimise for engagement. You typically optimise for engagement in earlier stages of product lifecycle

In these kind of questions could one do metric that one wants to improve upfront ? What are the best practices ?
@gabrieldurkin73662 ай бұрын
pretty sure facebook always wants to optimize for engagement. Early stage you want to optimize for growth and adoption of product
@raminfinity2 ай бұрын
Nope - you optimize for growth and adoption in early stages of the product and for engagement in later stages. These are not mutually exclusive, only degrees of where you focus on.
