Meta's AI Bots: Engagement Boost or Authenticity Bust?

There was a comment made in this video about How posting a rare Instagram pic. It's still exciting because of the engagement you'll see across the day. And that even if it was an AI bot, it might be good for someone to experience that. All I can say is that for me specifically, it would just make me mad. Because whenever I got likes on my Twitter posts, when I used to use that platform, And I realized they were some bot. It just made me angry. And I would have the same feeling about an intentional AI. When I post on social media. I do it for other humans to experience or digest. And while I guess there's no reason to dislike if something non-human experiences, I get no gratification from knowing that. So there isn't a single upside for me with this whole move to AI accounts. And frankly it just makes me want to use those platforms less.
