I appreciate the meta analysis with the tier 2 and higher strategies. But for a lot of the rogue decks and decks in the "Don't" tier, all you said was "Don't play it, its bad" lmao. Like if you're not gonna talk about the deck why even include it in the tier list? I get the decks are not meta but I think even a brief explanation as to WHY that's the case would be super helpful. Especially for newer or returning players. Just a suggestion no shade.

Melffy Spright typically goes Gigantic well before the 5th summon, so I don't think Nib is a big consideration. Not that the deck is great or anything, but rock isn't its biggest fear by far

I dont understand how people can say the fire king version is nowhere near the pure version of snake eyes. Yes pure usually takes up more of the top spots but fire king usually wins the whole thing. What that means to me is that more pros PREFER pure but fire king might actually be better. Everytime i hear a pro say pure is the best in a deck profile it's always followed by "even though ironically Fire King won the whole thing".

Personally I’m running punk/pride for my first TCG experience soon! (I’m not trying to win the YCS as you can tell 😭) Although the gp support was meh terratop to 3 is a blessing for playing around hand traps with gossip. Turn 1 board can be very good if left uninterrupted and OTK is pretty solid

I like that Lightsworn is under the radar rn. Not saying it’s tier 1 or 2 but Rogue can be scary.

I think Lightsworn piles with Horus/Tear stuff will actually be a tier 2 deck. LS having easy Tuner access and Horus having 8 access gives the Tear stuff a lot of consistency being able to search Planet with Visas Amritara and mill with The Zombie Vampire. Also Synchro and XYZ Minerva are crazy mill/advantage cards too.

@@hallyuniverse Lightsworn is one of my favourite decks of all time but I hate to say but they’re rogue. A deck like LS, sure their boards are insane but they need to draw specific pieces and not draw other pieces. More than a quarter of the deck is most likely cards best when in GY and do nothing in hand unless you those draw specific cards to ditch them. That alone makes it slightly worse compare to the tier 2 decks imo.

@@timbitz079 They literally got a Poplar and a new Tuner that lets you fix the main issue with LS (drawing Felis/Wulf), on top of one of the best Synchro 8s in the game. Pure Lightsworn is rogue, but Lightsworn in mill piles will be very good.

I don't think the actual Melodious deck will do much, but I think we'll see the Melodious engine in decks like Voiceless, or we'll see Pendulum goodstuff with Melodious (especially now that Anti-Spell is dead). It's basically just a better version of the Superheavy engine or Skullcrobat Joker + Monkeyboard.

Infernoble lost Isolde months ago. Mannadium got stomped from Baronne/Savage Dragon ban. Vanquish Soul fell off before even Unchained got hit and Swordsoul hasn't been good in forever. Sorry man, poor choice of deck building if you were planning to win

Decks like Kash, floo, spright are all older but are still solid. It's just chance as to which decks get hit or powercrept.
