In this video, we discuss how unconscious posture and breathing negatively influence the pancreas, getting in the way of your body‘s ability to control your blood sugar.
Through the application of fascia decompression, we explain how you can turn up the bodies metabolic processes to sustain healthy systems functions, giving you additional support to manage your size in shape, control blood sugar, and support heart health.

I started block therapy about the same time I tightened up my keto macros January 10. I’ve lost 10 lbs and would like to lose 15 more, however I noticed that my nightly block therapy has made me look as though I have lost all those 25 lbs I wanted to lose!

Hi there! This will go away. This is a result of your body moving toxins out of the tissue and into the bloodstream. Continue blocking to keep it moving, and make sure to hydrate well. Hope this helps!

Fascinating conversation. I would like to add that, as an opera singer, I find that it is easier to do deep diaphragmatic breathing by expanding the rib cage on the inhale and keeping it expanded on the exhale. This allows you to really use the abdominal muscles to assist in doing a complete exhalation.

I love you guys!! I love Block Therphy. I am definitely new to block therapy and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever invested in. I’m in very good shape and it’s taken my fitness to the next level. The calmness I feel after blocking is something that is new for me and I’m very excited about what I discovered when it comes to Blocking my body and the calm that I feel. So many benefits I cannot wait to become more advanced at blocking. Keep the podcast going, and I promise you I will keep listening and learning. Also, I want to add when you guys talk about displaced fascia. My back fat and my knee fat is almost gone because of the blocking. I am so excited to wear my shorts this summer.

My theory is that once you "hand over" the responsibility of your health condition to another, (as in, your doctor) you actually stop listening to your body's voice, your symptoms, you further ignore the signals in your body that feed you the information that you need to heal. We need to be our own doctor/healer first and foremost, and if we do it all the time, we can heal much, much more without outside help. I usually don't agree with what doctors tell me to do, I avoid any sort of drugs unless absolutely necessary. ("normal" doctors nearly killed me with drugs when I was in my late 20s, I had to learn what other mecidine was out there and I have spent the last 40 years, following this path and learning to listen to my body. I have work to do, I am not perfect, I am currently carrying excess weight, but I know that I am on the right path) . Thank you for this informative video, I do breathing sessions once a week, so very cleansing - mind and body.

Yes! Dr. Peat teaches about internal body temperatures and pulse. Bioenergetic principals will work well with block therapy. I appreciated the comments about individual eating styles. I've been everything from raw vegan to carnivore trying to nourish my body, mind, spirit. None of those therapies "healed" me. This is a process that runs deeper than just food or gut health etc. Thank you for being open minded.

I have started my block therapy journey and am really excited about it. I know it is going to become worse before it gets better. I have a lot of pain and a lot of weight to lose. I just wish I had more time in the day for my block sessions. I am grateful for this gift and I also love that you both are so compassionate and understanding.

Thanks for mentioning the book 'Breath' in a previous podcast. I found it in my library and I'm part way through. I have to say I'm astounded!! I've been working on breathing properly for years but had no idea of the extent it has been able to help some folk. I still have a long way to go, as well as with the blocking. ❤

I wear oxygen after COVID this past 18 months. So many surgeries in both tibias and knees I’m finally starting to use my sampler program My breath is getting better. I live at 6,300 ft and I could benefit greatly from a focus as this. Also, what was the breath book reference? Thank you so much. I totally enjoy watching you both every week 🥰🌸🌺

I need to ask something else. I heard Dianna mention pressure in between fingers & toes 3 minutes each. I can’t find any information on it at all for what it helps with. I started doing it but no idea if correctly🥰. Thank God for Alexa 😂😂😂

Hi there! Our feet and our hands are the extremities of the body, furthest from our "engine", the diaphragm. Fascia winds tighter and tighter the further away it gets from the diaphragm. This means that a lot of what is holding us out of alignment could be found in these areas. Here is a quick lessen on how to do the toe and hand work! First, the toes: Using your fingers, or the handle of a wooden spoon, place fingers or wooden handle between your toes and apply pressure into the webbing. Put enough pressure so you start to feel the pain, but not so much that you can't breathe comfortably. Hold for 3 minutes. Do this between all toes. For your hands, place the webbing of the same finger pairing together and press until you find some pain. Hold for 3 minutes. Do this between each finger, including between your thumb and first finger. Hope this helps!

Does block therapy help with dissolving biofilms? This idea suddenly came to me while listening to this. Cause I'm thinking about stream inhalations help the sinus area of biofilms there. So heat and pressure in other areas of the body might dissolve biofilms.
@Fluidisometrics
@Fluidisometrics 7 ай бұрын
Hi there! Biofilms are polymicrobial communities comprised of bacteria. Blocking, by way of improving oxygenated blood flow to all areas of the body, may help the body fight/remove them.

I’m doing the breath exercises and I never sweat but I’m sweating but I’m wearing my Fitbit and my heart rate is up over 100 when I do it. I haven’t eaten sugar or carbs in3 years and I still have metabolic syndrome . Is it normal for the heart rate to go up when you do this squeezing . Im hopeful this will heal me

does the practice of deeper breathing from diaphragm become like the default way we breath, instead of the shallow upper chest we've done most our life? or will it remain something we have to be mindful about? I'm in my 70's
@Fluidisometrics
@Fluidisometrics 7 ай бұрын
Hi there! Good question! We want it to become our default breath. In the beginning you may find yourself reverting back, however, being conscious of that means you are half way there! At that point you would switch back to breathing diaphragmatically. The more this happens, the more you will find you are breathing diaphragmatically. It will become second nature soon, so keep it up!
