Increase your intake of bioflavonoids!! Use a great mfgr and double the dose! Increase your intake of vegetables as well! There are also specific Nutraceuticals that are formulated for this! Consulting with a Nutritional Therapist can really, really help with this issue! Also look at your gall bladder and thinning the bile will also help with vericose vein suppression.!

Social media needs to be very careful how they tell people to be "happy" with their weight. Some that are on meds and seriously overweight can often tell themselves they are happy at that weight. The pendulum can swing too far the other way. Easy to say for those who have never experienced extreme obesity (which I consider 50+ lbs however the FDA states 20 to 30lbs!) The mind can play some horrible games when one feels bad about themselves. ❤

Awesome talk and education piece as always!!! I recall you mentioning why the 3 minutes is imperative in the starter program however I can’t recall. Does 1 …2…minutes do anything ? Or only 3 min plus right from the start ? Lol the mystery around this magic number , thank you 🙏🏻 ❤
@Fluidisometrics
@Fluidisometrics 2 күн бұрын
Hi there! 3 minutes is the magic number to reach for the "melting action". Anything less does not have the same affect. That said, there are some positions you may want to come out earlier than 3 minutes for various reasons. That's ok, as long as when you practice you are mostly doing 3 minutes....If you are doing 1 or 2 minutes, keep going until you can work your way up to 3 minutes.

There is so much rich information in this video it’s hard to know where to begin. But you’ve talked about fatty liver syndrome now twice in the videos I’ve heard and I would love to know more about how to use blocking to help this (I intend to listen to the digestion one next) as I was recently diagnosed with this after going through an intense two years of emotional physical and spiritual trauma which I’m slowly climbing my way out of. I’ve recently begun to have enough energy to begin working out again and similarly I haven’t noticed a huge shift if any on the scales and I believe it’s partly due to this liver still recovering. How do we know when it’s healed ?
@Fluidisometrics
@Fluidisometrics 8 ай бұрын
Hi Laurel! 1. When we breathe diaphragmatically we are giving our organs an internal massage. 2. When we block directly on the area, with time and pressure we are creating an internal heat. Both of these actions help to bring heat and flow to the area. With that comes healing.

Love this.. I have only been doing blocking with a towel and mainly on my stomach, below chest and calf’s. I noticed that my one foot started hurting on the top. I assume somehow blocking is the cause. I have been trying to block the top of my feet with the towel now too. It seem to help a bit. My daughter who only 16 has very flat feet and can pop one of her hips out. I am wondering if you offer one on one coaching?

So, long story short, are you advocating massage therapy to address the congestion in the Fascia system? Thank you for your content!
@Fluidisometrics
@Fluidisometrics 8 ай бұрын
Hi there! The best thing to address congestion in the fascia system is Block Therapy, where we use pressure over time, on the block buddy, as well as incorporate the diaphragmatic breath. The pressure on the block creates heat from the outside, and the diaphragmatic breath creates heat on the inside. This melts through those restrictions (down to the bone) allowing proper blood flow. Because we are breathing diaphragmatically we are increasing the amount of oxygen our bodies can absorb by 6x! Increasing oxygen, and blood flow is what creates the healing! The beauty of Block Therapy is that it is a self-care modality. You can do it in the comfort of your own home. Massage Therapy would be a great compliment to Block Therapy. If you want to learn more, go to www.blocktherapy.com.

I have to say you have wonderful knowledge around fascia release/decompression. However, if you follow the anecdotal stories from the carnivore community (tens of thousands) especially of morbidly obese people losing weight as fast as you warn against, you will note (wether you agree with an animal based diet or not) it is completely possible to lose fat weight safely. Your work IS a very important component, but I have already lost my 65 lbs, and still have pain from an auto-immune condition which diet has not dissipated. I know block therapy is a component to my healing, but I could not have even started this without starting this diet first.

Kambo frog medicine appears promising for chronic pain and auto immune issues. Research the contraindicaitons thoroughly first. Could also be there is a hidden psychosomatic component to the pain. John Sarno and Gabor Mate have books that might give you more levers to relieve that type of pain. Think they were "Divided mind" and "When they body says no".

Do you know about oxalates? When you go carnivore, you flush these crystals out. They can be held in the fascia and contribute to the gunk that inflames us.

Thank you I have since I began walking ( 10 months old) had ' knocked knees ' my knees face inwards, surgeons said the only option was to break both my legs and reset them , my mother chose Not to have this option therefore my knees can bang against each other when walking. Is it possible perhaps to address this with blocking? Interestingly I also started with breathing issues at that time ( Croup inflamed vocal chords)and wonder whether they're related. I'm now 55 and have walked this way most of my life, I'd be interested to hear about maybe why and what I could potentially do. Currently working through your Starter programme and am in your FB community. Thank you

Hi Michelle! I think the best thing would to have an assessment done with one of our Fascia Alignment Coaches. They would with you, one on one and provide a custom routine for you to follow. You provide pictures of yourself and they work with you. Here is a link. blocktherapy.com/assessments/ If that is not an option, they try either the 21 day pelvis, legs and feet , or the 30 day posture reset. Both are daily guided programs that help address cause sites.

I suppose you could think of it that way. Inflammation and swelling go hand in hand. In Latin it's referred to as rubor, dolor calor tumor; which translates to redness, pain, heat and swelling. Modern interpretation adds "loss of function" as in a sprain you won't be able to put the joint through the full range of motion due to the swelling,etc. In my personal case I have put on more than 10 pounds since my car accident in December; however that the holidays, times of being -15degrees and not wanting to go out and do anything, etc. I am just back to trying to do block therapy and I felt that it was not terribly challenging in the past. But seatbelt sign is bruising where the seat belt/ shoulder harness fits and it has been quite challenging due to pain and swelling. If I am at least as consistent as I can be it seems to be helping.@@sirrobinofloxley7156

I’m LOVING blocking 😊 and listening and learning from your videos. I was practicing proper breathing on a walk with my son & husband. They begun discussing breathing while doing intense exercise like during CrossFit. They were saying that exhaling through the mouth rather than nose probably lets out more toxins etc. I’ve been listening to you and other diaphragmatic breathers so their concept doesn’t make sense to me now but I also could not add input bc I don’t know. Do you have a vid or example of this topic? Dia Breathing while intense exercise? Maybe they’ll be interested in listening to that.

if we're not gaining more fat cells when we 'gain weight', but the fat cells become larger, then what does body fat percentage mean? also, does this mean that 'weight gain' in terms of fat just means larger (and therefore heavier) fat cells...? thanks for a response!
