hello dr. , I have a metacarpal fracture in my 5th finger and I had surgery and a platinum was inserted. I have decided to keep my platinum for life. Is there any harm in my punching right now?

I'd also like to know, i have a plate and screws in my hand, punched a wall like an idiot, and i've been worrying about my ability to do boxing down the road in a few years

It's been 4+ years since i had the break, cast has been gone for few years now, pins gone as well...my hand always feels kinda weak, so i wonder if i strengthen it with a hand grip strengthener, will i eventually be able to do more stuff with the hand? I just want other peoples experiences and insight (:

@@Mistermadeoutofmetalmilk I am continuing my boxing now and it is platinum, no problem. There is no problem in punching even without gloves. There is nothing to worry about .I wish you success in your life.

My 5th metacarpal is oblique fracture, 10weeks back, and i wore a splint for 6weeks, 3weeks back back splint is removed, till now fractured line visible on x -ray, can i use my hand general purposes like eating food, typing computer......

Hello sir, my 5th metacarpal was fractured (oblique fracture ), and it's just in position, doctor said just split is enough for 6weeks. 15days back split is removed, now 2months and 10days completed, but fracture lines still visible, how long it will take to go off fracture lines on x-ray, metacarpal fractured lines still visible after 2months??? how long it will take to disappear fractured lines on X-ray.. can I do physiotherapy because, fractured lines are still visible now. please tell me, thanks in advance....
