The 10:05 item could attach to the leather strap of a horse or horse and buggy for a lantern to hang from

1st part of video, Phillip's 2 circular domed pieces put me in the mind of old door bell bases? Don't know, just a thought. Great hunt guys ❤

Someone I know _ahem_ saved me on an Equinox 800 when they were hot and I've had a ball with it ever since. I was watching them swing detectors then and never stopped. It's not what you find, it's finding it. Detecting is like panning for gold. You are probably not going to strike it rich but you will find cool stuff and perhaps a bit of treasure. Like panning as a hobby, it's just plain fun.

Mikes mystery item was probably meant for fabric or leather because of the prong attachments on the back. Awesome video guys. Good finds. ❤LL

That was a cool old house! That was a buggy break John. Philips bird was a Purple Martin or some other type of swallow.

Thanks for another cool video. I too think the first mystery item may have been horse tack related, and the bird is a swallow, probably from a wind chime. Nice finds!

I have some ideas for the item at 10:07 one is its a bottle cap to an old milk or bottle. The other is its the top part to a sink or bath tub drain plug.

The hoop with the clasp on the back may have been a clothing hanger for a tent. Pushed through canvas, ring on inside of the tent.

@12:13 that looks like something that would hold a picture and a name plate below. Totally guessing on that. @12:25 is that part of an old mangled bicycle bell?

That aluminum tag is actually extremely cool. Its a U.S. World War I Labor Battalion dog tag! The number in the middle is his serial number. His name would have been around the edge but unfortunately I am unable to make it out. The Labor Battalions were primarily made up of African-Americans who performed support duties such as digging trenches, clearing equipment, burying the dead, etc. Very historic find.

That " Dirty Bird " that Phillip dug might be part of a wind chime. Are those drones hard to fly. And how do you record while it`s up in the air while your hunting?
@brucemattes5015Ай бұрын
Some rabies vaccination tags were double punched so that they could be riveted to a leather dog collar with tiny brass roundhead rivets, which reduced the chances of the tag being lost. Some municipalities were hell on wheels about dogs running loose being licensed and vaccinated and if your dog was caught tagged with a license but without the vaccination tag, then a stiff fine was usually the result.

that floral design is a civil war flower button from the 1860's and were worn by Union Soldiers. Also you should carry a garbage bag that way you don't put your trash in your pouch or bag.
