I went to a local park by the river and went metal detecting yesterday. I foung 9 bottle caps, a steel rod about 2ft long, some foil , a ball bearing and the lead from a projectile. The projectile was there long enough for the copper to corrode away. All was within 2ft of the river.

Where my friends and family I have left are waiting. Should have been there a month ago but I had car problems and I'm having to have my front end completely rebuilt on my Mazda 6. The Simplex is a great “grab & go” kind of machine. I like it for parks and places like that. But on the saltwater beach The Legend definitely outperforms the The Simplex.

Nasturtiums are some of my favorite plants. They look very similar, but the Miner’s Lettuce is kind of like spinach. It’s also really good in salad or sautéed 😋
