"New York loves its Corona". Around the 6 minute mark. You found a bottle cap. Interesting statement back then lol. Love all your videos. Thank you for sharing your time with us.

You're becoming The Quarter Hoarder New Yorker 😂 I like all of the information that you give us concerning tides and sand movements. I never think about those two things in conjunction with debris movement on shore 👍 Great info Merrill ☺

One time there was a lightning storm and I totally understood that. But in some places New York treats it’s citizens like children. You can’t be in the water before the lifeguards supposedly.

LOL, you are the first metal detector to mention peeing while detecting as finding a place to do it is a huge factor in a lot of urban beaches with a lot of people and few places close by to go to.

When do you normally have to stop beach hunting because of the cold? Have you applied the Equinox 2.01 firmware update yet? The new F2 setting seems to help with bottle caps. Those Minelab equinox branded waterproof headphones are kind of pricey at $150. I think I would rather have the Gray Ghost Amphibian II version at $160 though.

Cold does not bother me. I stop (and cry) when they dredge. I’m gonna add f2 this morning.

Merrill look like the 15 inch coil..whats your opinion is this a must for the beach for covering ground quicker ? Great video I'm finally hitting older ones I missed and was thinking about a 15 just this past week..on the fence. I value your input !

Kicked out of the water? Was it a safety issue? Usually (at least here in Canada) property / park rights end at the high tide line.
