Metal detecting Civil War relics with the XP Deus II

I finally got the opportunity to go hunt another great area close to a lot of Civil War action and decided to try out the Xp Deus II and a few different modes just to see what the Machine could really do and believe me it can do it!!

Enjoyed the relic hunt and the nice parrot shell. Just subscribed to your channel. I have been detecting for over 51 years myself and primarily hunt around the Middle Tennessee area. I use my Deus 2 most of the time. I have owned a bunch of machines and I consider it the best. P.S. you kind of have that Southern draw like I have😊.

Nice videos! I enjoy you giving the ID #s out. I am swinging deus2 also and still learning it. I have never used the general yet been sticking with DEEP HC and SENSITIVE both modified depending on soil and trash changing on the fly. Keep up the good work!

I actually had started on the deus fast mode and figured out you could get a little bit more depth with the general mode I have also used Deep Hc mode the machine is amazing. Can’t say enough good things about it and thank you!!

Usually number one is be very honest with the landowner and what your doing tell them that you want to metal detect and you’ll take care of their property and tell them what your looking for. Also tell them that you’ll will take care of their property and not leave holes and they will not be able to tell that you’ve even been there, if that doesn’t work and if you feel like there not going to let you look tell them you’ll give them some of the stuff you find!! I know that’s hard for a lot of people to do but it is the right thing to do since they are giving you permission to look their property.

Also, tell them how long you’ve been doing this it helps if they know that you have past permissions and that you know what you’re doing!!
