The copper disc you found with the bent pin on it is called a tingle its a roofing nail clip

yup, its a slate roofing tile hanger, also the large red and white stone is actually a ocean polished brick and mortar

MrMaGo67 Battle is a small town some 5 miles inland of Hastings. The French landed at Pevensey bay and used a old Roman fort and made their way north east to a hill Called Senlac. After the battle the new king built a monastery by the field of battle now called Battle.

Nice one Dan - poppy lol :). I think it's a bit of a copper rivet from a clinker built wooden boat. I used something just like them to repair my boats a few years ago.

Those dog fish belong to the shark family . Those are shark eggs. And those weights as you call them are called SINKERS. How about going to BATTLE near Hastings and showing us were the battle took place. You may find a sword there with any luck.

I have never seen fishing weight with wires on them like you keep finding. I am guessing the wires keep it from snagging on the bottom?
