G'day folks. What a weekend! Fun and friendship with fellow KZbinrs, new connections made and amazing camaraderie. The digging was tough, but the Minelab Manticore and the 9 inch coil performed incredibly, finding the smallest of targets, Roman grots and finishing the day on a last hole banger hammered.

Hi Andrew and Viv, so glad you guys had a great time at Detectival, some nice little finds but for me the lead button stole the show, cracking little find especially with the shanks still on it, romans and a Lizzy hammered not to mention your silver thimble, love digging the low numbers, the whiteness of lead has nothing to do with age, it means it's very pure, and romans did make very pure lead, if the lead was impure it would still be grey in colour. Gday Roelf. We are have fun and finding heaps of interesting things. The people we meet is great. Catching up with KZbinrs from last time is awesome. We are made to feel so welcome. The shovel came like that mate. Has been doing a great job. I’ve been digging holes where others say they can’t and been heavily levering with it, and it’s a two piece, and there is no issue. Great thing it is😁. The blue velvet is actually a snood that is nearly the right colour and we are still here in the UK. If hornets are like European wasps I know what you went through.
