Dear Phil Harding! I have missed you SO MUCH since not having a TV. A little boy at our Kindy here in NSW was looked after a LOT by his Grand dad. They watched Time Team together a LOT. One day at show-and-tell he brought in a bit of old brick he dug up from behind his Dads garage.. And in YOUR VOICE he perfectly said" I thought it might have been a piece of a Roman Wall" ❤😊 maybe he has dug up half of Australia by now and found the beginnings of life in the iron rich rocks of the Pilbara.

I love what you do, and I understand why Patreon is your priority, but one commercial per show is enough, especially for people that watch the shows regularly. It is not necessary to do them multiple times per show. It is quite annoying. Also, intentionally mislabeling uploads to induce people to click on them irritates me even more. You don't need to do that.

it confuses me why you only do it in 3 days? is it a bank holiday? it just seems odd to try and solve hundreds of year old history in 3 days, or 27 hrs roughly if you count each day as 9 hours working. could you not do peoples gardens in the three days then the church in 3 days a total of 6 days to dig up as much as possible, or is the 3 days purely to give the video some "excitement". the show is exciting enough as is :)
@jamieilikeit6 ай бұрын
You nailed it with the last thought. Condensing the dig into 3 days makes it more interesting for TV. There are lots of other factors that mean it can only be 3 days too. Despite what is seen on screen there is usually a crew of around 50 or more, with trucks, cars, trailers, equipment, all working on a filmed dig for one episode. Sometimes depending where they are it can have some disruption on infrastructure, traffic, travel and resources. Mick has said this himself in the past. Most of the time they excavate, document, film etc then after the 3 days hand over the site to other archaeologists.
@aairsick6 ай бұрын
