You're quite right and it was deliberate - I really wanted the heavy bass-line to shine in this because that's the heavy part, to me. However I'm doing a new version at the moment actually, and it the lead line will also have the spooky "ooowwweoooo" plus that high organ sound an octave above that. I wish this was the next rendition of the Doctor Who theme tune for who the next Doctor may be, it is nice big loud and heavy and I like it very much and as I wrote before, I like it, nice one 👍 😊

Man, with the 6th Doctor's explosive personality, this theme variation could've accompanied his title sequence. He'd probably have lasted longer if it had been able to.

+Colin Porter I know it's a little late, but you actually need whoever holds the copyright's permission. Usually that only matters if you are making commercial gains off it, eh monetized videos, advertisement etc. But sometimes they will even chase it up if there is no gains from it. If you haven't been caught up then great, you've done well haha

I might put a tab together when I have time. It's tuned to B-Standard if that helps. I first learned what the notes were from the original 1963 recording, then just kind-of made up the Murray Gold-ish bits. I never actually figured it out, just did what I thought sounded neat. Watch this space! I might even film a video of me playing it. (Actually there's a partial video of me recording it on my channel if you have a dig.) Cheers! ~ King

if I did a TV show I would use several different themes, all the same on paper but does to set the mood of what is going to be in the epsode. So if the episode was going to have some gratuitous violence I would use something more metal like this (And on the closing of the prior episode). then use a pop or dance version when it is a celebrate mood. ECT. ECT. ECT. I do like this one.

Love this, but like with most Dr Who Metal themes I'm finding... you're making the mistake of drowning out the main guitar rift with the background music. The whole thing that makes the Dr Who theme is the "Whoo whoo whooooooooooo."
