Awesome reaction! :) This song is from the album Carolus Rex, which is one of my all time favourite Sabaton albums. It's a concept album that tells the tale of the rise and fall of the Swedish empire, in the 1600s and 1700s. Sabaton is a Swedish band and when they released this album, they released two versions of it. One in Swedish, and one in English. While many of the songs are basically the same between the two versions, some of the songs actually have different lyrics and perspectives between the Swedish and English versions. One song that have two different versions is "En livstid i krig" (A lifetime of war). The song is about the 30th years war that raged in Europe in the 1600s. The English version tells the tale of the war from the perspective of the people who lived in the war torn central Europe at the time. While the Swedish version tells the story from the perspective of a young Swedish soldier, conscripted into the Swedish army during the war. The song is absolutely amazing, and I wholly recommend it for a reaction. In particular, the live performance of the Swedish version from The Great Tour in Gothenburg 2020. Make sure to put on English subtitles so that you can really experience the story. The translation isn't perfect but it's good enough to give you a good understanding of the story they're telling. And the performance still gives me goosebumps, no matter how many times I watch it. :) This is the link to the live performance: SABATON - En Livstid I Krig (Live - The Great Tour - Gothenburg) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXPWZHpnhdusnK8
