Jesus, that was hard. It only beat it after sleeping and playing with a refreshed mind. Same for the final boss in MGS3.

That was a good run! Jaguar King put on an enjoyable run, even with the mistakes, but how he handles them makes him a good runner. I know I don't have the skills to pull off this game on European Extreme, so being able to watch the run was something. In all seriousness glad to see another Metal Gear game make it into GDQs.

So... what was the actual run time? He said they went by in-game time after the credits and unless I'm remembering incorrectly also said at some point that the WR was 1:36, right? So by the GDQ timer this was a new WR but presumably not in reality since they were all extremely blase at the end of the run. I am a little confused as to why in-game time would be longer though... so what in the world did I miss?

mikhail bostick nope because they stopped the time after the solidus fight instead of the actual stop point after the credits, which means he wasn't as close to WR as you might think. Credits usually take a little over 10mins, so his actual time would have been around 1:42

Here's a tip for any of the metal gear button mashing scenes, get an electric toothbrush and remove the top of the brush. You now have a little nub that moves up and down very fast, great for button mashing. Thank me later
