"Escape" is my favorite track in the entire series. It really caries the powerful emotion of losing Grey Fox and the will to finish the fight. This version of it was not quite what I wanted or even expected to have here compared with the other tracks in this list yet somehow I still really enjoyed it. It's almost a whole new song but with touches of the original.

I very much like what you did with Encounter. One nitpick: I wish it didn't transform into a rock beat at 14:32 - it takes away from the intensity, I think. Thankfully the beat moves back into the "1!, 1!" feel like an urgent action piece should. The impact of Encounter is that constant, relentless feeling of every beat feeling like a downbeat. It doesn't let up. Having a techno bass drum do 1 and 3 with a techno snare doing 2 and 4 isn't really appropriate for what the scene is supposed to be setting. Other than that, I love the distorted bass synth you added - nice touch. Also, the strings sound much more natural than the string samples used in the original OST. Well done.

... Well, this is awesome. Really, I've got nothing to nitpick. I will admit I was hoping an orchestrated version of the original MGS1 theme rather than an MGS2 variant but preference and nitpicks/critiques aren't the same thing. All I can say is that this is amazing and that you needs to be hired by someone one day. (Also, if you ever consider doing the MGS theme control mix I will throw money at you. ;p)

I love how similar this sounds to the pre-dark night soundtracks, especially to the first transformers movie, the dark/gothic orchestra mixed with electrohouse sprinkled with that patriotic ambience just fits perfectly with the MGS soundtracks.

PaX MalombellA Don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to Death Stranding,but I always wanted that Hideo Kojima do remakes of Metal Gear 1,2.. And it would be Metal Gear Solid 6,the final one... Just imagine Solid Snake meeting Big Boss for the first time,then fights him at the end in today's graphics. It is a shame Konami is controlled by idiots these days. Metal Gear Solid didn't just changed your perception of video games,it was the first game that incorporated movie elements in games in general.
