This is one of my top 5 Muse songs. The composition is in 5/8 and, at the end, when you said nice groove, the drums goes 4/4 and music stills 5/8. In the guitar solo, there are 3 5/8 measures and 1 6/8. Yes, I'm a drummer 😂

This is one of my favorite songs... It is so good Live @ Olympic Stadium... I love the All of it.. The Guitar/drums/ and BASS not to mention Chris' backing vocals are GREAT!

Nice, this is one of my personal favorites. It’s rhodes playing the main melody and i think a harpsichord doubles it after the first verse. I really like how this song builds up to the end.

I started playing guitar and piano because of Matt Bellamy. Now I'm happy to say that I can play most of their songs on both... So thanks Matt! Please listen to some Stone Roses, another English band. Bluesy indie rock, absolutely fantastic, think you'd like em. Suggestions, Love Spreads, Breaking into Heaven and everything else they did.

Always loved this song, a recomendation from the same album to contrast with the vibes of this song would be the 2nd law: unsustainable (spoiler, its a dubstep song made entirely on guitar lol). Not sure if the electronic sound is up your alley but its a really cool listen knowing how it was made.

@@gmetzgermusic all three of those albums + origin of symmetry are peak muse imo, so i'm really excited to see you react to them. resistance and 2nd law are notoriously shit on by the community, and it makes me sad because i think they're really great.

I understand how someone who loves Absolution might not love 2nd Law or Resistance, but to flat out say "oh Muse really fell off" just makes me mad lmao like - it's all good music, the albums are just different. And I think the fact that no two Muse albums sound exactly the same is really sick. It shows their talent.
