they are only 3 in the band, the singer is also the one who plays guitar and piano and he composes everything
@BabyBatPlays7 ай бұрын
Matt Bellamy is the Vocalist, he also does all of the guitar, piano, synth/electronics, and writes all of the orchestral/string parts - he's fucking insane like it's hard to believe that there are only 3 people in this band lmao and he uses his voice kind of as another instrument, it resembles a guitar a lot of the time imo, speaking of guitars he had the world record for most guitars smashed on stage lmfao idk if he still has it tho
@chaosspider57659 күн бұрын
He still has the world record, and apprently the record has been discontinued meaning nobody else is allowed to even claim it anymore meaning he will have the record forever

It's kudos to Muse that they were told by their record label to reduce the falsetto use after Showbiz and Muse, promptly, doubled down on the falsetto. The U.S record label responded by not releasing it in the U.S. Glad Muse stuck to their guns.

Darkshine's groove is top tier, most underrated Muse song and my Top 3 Muse song along with Sing for Absolution and Stockholm Syndrome. Also, While I agree that this is Muse's best album, that does not mean it is my favorite...that would be Absolution. So go ahead and give the other albums a try and see which one you end up liking the most.

the album after this sounds way more clear, they actually made this album to sound like it came out in the mid 1900's because it is basically an art rock album about a dystopian future and a lot of other very abstract concepts, but a couple years ago they remastered it and made it less compressed and it sounds incredible, a couple of the songs aren't as good imo because they change some things but most of them sound so much better (especially New Born, Bliss, and Citizen Erased sound way better) if you want more muse you should do either Absolution or Black Holes and Revelations, those are their two biggest albums for a reason - this one will always be my favorite tho - also, his singing is way less experimental on the other albums

Citizen Erased is a fan favourite. I'm sure 99% of original Origin of Symmetry fans don't even have Spotify or that number of plays would be in the billions. For every concert with 30K people there will be 20K with a "please play Citizen Erased" banner. It's the best song on the album, and Plug in Baby and Feeling Good aren't even in the top 5.

If you like this album you’d probably like their album “absolution” their debut album “showbiz” it’s personally my favourite and it has a far more 90s sound to it as well as their 3rd album “hullabaloo soundtrack” it’s very experimental and half of the album is live but it’s still insanely and I mean insanely good

Fun fact about the song “megalomania” they played it on an actual church organ and the priest at the church asked what the song was about so they faked lyrics to let them play it as the song is heavily against the church

Man this album is a mind fuck lmao I love Muse's old art rock albums, Muse and Linkin Park were like the first bands I got into when I was a kid (I'm 22) I didn't appreciate this album until high school and it's just a masterpiece imo, they are similar to Linkin Park in the way that every album is completely different, like insanely different, I saw muse last year with Evanescence and they went HARD, I went crazy when they played Bliss which is probably my favorite muse song, idk tho it's hard to choose fr - btw Bliss is about aliens observing humans and wishing they could feel love and emotions as strongly as we do
