It is a little different from the demo. The "Hit Streak" have a ridiculous value now and you can get negative points from "speed bonus". However, congratulations. You dominate almost all leaderboards.

In the demo, hit streak was so freakin' overpowered. The scores you could get from it was crazy. Basically the meta was: Death from above (32 000 points if I remember correctly) and get as high hit streaks as possible (2500 points / hit streak).

Holy shit man well done! your spacial awareness is insane. two questions, why do you always go for the double finisher combo and why do you switch to the claws for behemoths?

So double finishers just give that many points. Slaughters/kills themselves give points, but at x16 you get 32,000 points per double slaughter, on top of the 8000 for a death from above (dash, jump, slaughter). And the hatchets can hit multiple times if they hit right so their DPS is generally a.bit faster than pistols. Not by a large margin but enough that I think it matters. In 5 beats they can hit 8 times, game pistols needing 8 beats to hit 8 times, so they can rack damage up fast.

Mostly higher difficulties have more enemies, which more or less contribute more score.

How are you shooting the grunts/small demons with the dual pistols and not instantly killing them? When I was playing through this level using the dual pistols I always killed the little guys in one shot with no room for a glory kill. Is it some stream upgrade or boon?

This is Beast Difficulty. On lower difficulties Pistols kill Marionettes. You need to use Sword instead to put them into Slaughter State.

Hit streak has diminishing returns, but ALSO the speed Bonus can go to the negatives, so you can't even farm it for miniscule amounts because you'll lose more than you gain. Overall great changes!

Think of it this way, you'll probably get the same score from general kills + staying on beat, do your slaughter/combos, hit streak, and speed Bonus, while small, will make all the difference. Hell, there'll need to be research into whether going faster is worth not doing hit streak, as ultimates usually don't give as much hit streak and also not much room for slaughters.

Hit Streak loss prevention and ultimate generation. I'd run the x16 at start if I had it but these saves don't because they use a save before Nihil so no Explosive Slaughters.

So I have a backup save file that hasnt completed Nihil, which has the unfortunate side effect that I can't get the Sigils from Nihil or after, so I can't get the final version of the Sigil that lets me start with x16, etc.

To be fair I'd argue going for a top score run in MH is harder than simply doing UN Doom Eternal. As far as just doing Beast difficulty itself though it's definitely much easier than DE Nightmare.
