People love to hate on this band because of how they dress (or used to dress, not sure anymore) and because they do a very "safe" and "likeable" style of modern metal. It's kinda sad, because these guys have grown up A LOT musically wise since their early edgy teen scene kid days, but people just love to trash them regardless. This song in particular is good, but not amazing or over the top. It still at least shows a very "mature" style and they should have some credibility for it. Having grown up in the 80's and listened to all 80's metal this band is entertaining for me. I saw them live a few days ago and even their live show reminded me of an 80's band. So I look at them as a throw back band that has taken a more modern approach. Say what you want though, the key to good song writing is creating a familiarity to the song. If a NEW song already sounds familiar WITHOUT being a copy of theirs or something someone else has made then you hit a mark as a songwriter. So many of their songs do that for me.

@@dakusupremacy we know his voice is that deep. We're just saying it doesn't look like it should be coming out of that face lol

His vocal chords are not normal, they’re turned a weird way. That’s why he’s always had an abnormally deep voice. He talked about it on an episode of The Andy Show... I think, maybe I heard him talking about it somewhere else. But yeah, that’s why.

You should give Vektor a try, I think they might blow your mind. Tetrastructural Minds or Echoless Chamber (no music videos unfortunately, just listen to a studio version or lyrical video)
