This song pays a huge and great homage to "American Psycho". That's also where the song's title comes from, A Huey Lews and the News song "Hip to be Square"

I simply just don't get why people don't recognize the voice of Jacoby Shaddix. Yeah they have similar voices. But there is a difference. The last chorus was Jacoby for sure! I always thought Coby had a really unique voice. He is such a great singer. Sooo underrated! This song brings me back to my teenage years. A little bit of Papa Roach, a little bit of My Chemical Romance, a little bit Escape The Fate... Match made in heaven🙏
