@@fade_out-1971 it’s become too much imo, I love the silver scream, but still were all cohesive songs and some normal songs like a grave mistake, and with all the theatrics in those songs they still fit and made sense. This and HTBS (not as much but still some) have too many sound bytes and weird stuff and makes the songs not very cohesive. There’s good parts but they get ruined with the other stuff for me

@@joeygennaro1192 the way I see it, The Silver Scream was the solid foundation of the INK "franchise," and the subsequent releases will be schlockier, cheesier versions of the source material but be entertaining nonetheless. It's basically an allegory for how horror franchises generally go. It may not be intentional, but I think it gives this a little added charm.

If you thought guitarists make you wanna quit now, imagine your inspiration for drumming at 13 years old being Matt Greiner. He started out like, fast and powerful drummer in the first few albums, crazy but the parts were playable (even if you had to simplify it a little bit) and fun nonetheless, and then the next album he became one of the most technical and incredible drummers around.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Matt at the beginning of the pandemic. It was hilarious I said your skill and technique almost makes me angry as I've been playing a decent while longer then you, but my god he is such a boss when it comes to drums. Super humble guy and was a blast to chit chat with for a good hour. He's def in my top 5 fav drummers of all time.

Patrick was the drummer on the silver scream. Ricky was also the touring 2nd guitars then as well. So Dan (lead guitars) and Joe (bass) are new from the last album.

Honestly with how often they change members I highly doubt this will stay. Even Spencer years ago said the lineup they had before is going to stay and now every member but him is gone. Ink really hadn’t been the same since and losing JD was the biggest blow for them

The biggest take away I have had after listening to the Silver Scream multiple times, and now these two most recent songs is that INK is Panic At The Disco meets metal. I enjoyed this, and I'm looking forward to more of this from them. Side note, seeing Nik's reaction to the jump scare at the end was priceless lmfao!
