This isn't actually a re-upload! It's the original upload, which has been in copyright jail for the last week. The version previously available was edited and chopped up a bit. Well... I fought the law and... I WON! So now, the RazörForce can enjoy this Metal Mythos album review - unedited - as originally intended! (Also, new rant drops in less than an hour!)

Everyone has an opinion but yeah Invincible Shield is better than Firepower in fact in my opinion it's the best Judas Priest album since 1984's Defenders Of The Faith. Judas Priest could release British Steel right now instead of in 1980 and this Metal Myth geek would s**t all over it. Iron Maiden could release The Number Of The Beast right now instead of in 1982 and this blabbermouth would s**t all over it his reviews are simply not valid.

I always look forward to your feverishly ferocious album reviews. I myself really like this record. It seems to combine the old school Painkiller vibe with the more modern Firepower. I think it has a few predictable pasty moments but overall this kicks the shit out of just about everything coming out lately. Plus at their age this is rather impressive and shows the youngsters out there how it's done.

Because that was a completely different band. That band JOINED the band K.K. was in. And decided to use the name of the PREVIOUS band, which had been called 'Judas Priest'.

God Giants in the Sky sucks, but I couldn't agree more about the album. The highs of Shield are even better than Firepower but Firepower was a much more consistent album start to finish. The Sinner Rides Again by KK's Priest is so fucking good and simply a much better album start to finish than Shield.

Saw the Sabaton and Priest show on the last leg of their tour, glad I got to see two legends at once. The impression of what I got from (at least what they played of) Invincible Shield in its live set is at worst, its generic Priest that'll be lost to the back catalog, and at best... made for a very good show (Panic Attack's solo rules live) and a decent addition or two to one of my playlists.
