I had no idea this game existed, even as a long-time fan of Metal Slug! They certainly toned down the difficulty from the arcade versions and added new features. The art style is really nice and fits the series.

I like the 'adventure' premise, makes it almost seem mmo but side scrolling, would be more fun if it was 4 party multiplayer as well. Don't like the rest of the game, graphics, auto-aim, "RPG" mechanics (health bar and damage counter)

The only positive thing i can say about this game is the OST. I think they really did a good job on the music. Yeah, that's it. The rest? Nope, total garbage. The game was fun for like 30 minutes, but when it started to throw all the gacha-mmorpg garbage at me, that fun just deteriorated. I tried to atleast finish the campaign, but I ended up getting burnt out and just uninstalled the game.

I'm confused as to how this game will be played? I mean it has servers and stuff. And what happens when I finish a mission, will it be more endless missions if it is an online game? According to how Megaman X Dive is like. I assume this is the kind of game that normal difficulty playthrough will be a cake walk while on harder difficulties you need to grind your gears hard just to survive when enemies all have beefed up stats. The real deal is going to be PVP where you brawl against another online player like you are playing Super Smash Bros except it is P2W heavy so having a right build is more important than inputs. So yeah I assume if you just want to beat the main story on standard difficulties then leave the game it is possible. But if you are up for bigger challenges or even competitive, be prepared to pay, like a lot.
