I’ve heard Atomkraft, but not really delved into their music that deeply! Love that Re-animator album! It was a big release in the U.K. back in the day! That Despair is a nice find & like you say, fabulous cover art! I only know ‘Purgatory’ from the U.K., but again great cover art on that album! Great update again Simon!🤘🏻

Great Stuff mate! I've never heard that Despair record, going to give it a rattle. Looks/sounds interesting. I never got heavily into Re-Animator but Amnesia Unknown Entity springs to mind as another UK thrash debut with an instrumental on it, if my memory is correct. Also, always good to see some Atomkraft! All the best.

Great additions, never heard about Purgatory. Waldemar Sorychta went on to found the Woodhouse studios and you will certainly have dozens of records he produced in the 90s, practically most Century Media releases.

Killer update mate. I never delved into Atomkraft, don’t know why just one that run under the radar for me. Nice ReAnimator!! I enjoy the ep Deny Reality and slightly odd 3rd album Laughing that I have🤘good UK thrash. Got the Despair album, found a copy a while back, great record.

Hey Simon, wow. Some obscure stuff in there. The only one I've heard is the Purgatory record, which is highly enjoyable stuff, lol!! The lyrics are hilarious. I was curious about your thoughts on the Cerebral Rot record that came out end of June. I've got it on steady rotation along with Helslave, Morbific and the excellent Canadian Spectral Wound album (among others, of course). I love the classic sounds, I guess! Always on the lookout for new recommendations, one metal head to another, I respect your taste so let me know if there's anything I might be sleeping on that I need to check out. As always, Cheers!!

Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words! I'm waiting for the Cerebral Rot LP to arrive at my local shop before I listen to any of it, I know it'll rule. Was hoping for the same with Spectral Wound but my distro never got LPs in, only CDs, so waiting for a reissue there. Morbific I really want the CD but man, buying from Headsplit is pricey to Australia and I can't find anyone else with it! I do recommend the new Ghastly if you've not heard that, and yesterday I got (and am listening to right now) the new Gosudar - both rule, so check those out!

Thanks for the recos, I'll let you know if I find anything cool as well, def check out Helslave if you have not, from Italy, it's probably a best of the year album for me.

Not very familiar with mincecore outside Malignant Tumor, but love goregrind. The recent Miasmatic Necrosis album is fantastic.
