I just discovered Babymetal a couple months ago and wasn't sure at first. However after listening more, I'm a huge fan, especially of Su's vocal abilities, and especially the Kami band. Such a fan now I'm going to see them in OKC in November. Definitely excited

Also check out the guitarrists at 4:24 I've seen this clip many times but it's the first time I notice them headbanging like that!

Seeing them do this song live was - for me - the high point of my finally getting to see them live last year (Cleveland, OH show). It was everything I could've possibly wanted from their live show (except for a few more songs....Kagerou and Karate, pretty please)? :)

I can confirm, the crowd at both Legend MM shows was frigging nuts. BMC always slaps live but this performance was extra fierce and I love it. 🤘🦊🔥

Epic, BxMxC always slaps. Especially with Su’s vocals followed up by Moa/Momo’s swag, then Barone’s gangstah blast beats lol. 🤘🦊

Great reaction, thanks! Yeah, I love the way Su played with her vocals here. And yes that's possibly Momoko on that scream, Alan (from Dicodec) noticed and isolated it. I was in that room and yes, you have multiple reasons to be jealous, haha... Keep in mind that, for shows in Japan, they set a lottery system for the tickets. 🤘🦊

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 I haven't used a word "Western" to call our Kami Band lately. The musicians with virtuosity, Chris, CJ, Anthony, Clint and Ryan have been dedicating their energy to BABYMETAL's international activities (including Japan) long and extensive enough to be called as our band. They are amazing knights to protect our queen and princesses.❤ (Of course, I love and respect original Kamis. But they are currently and mainly focusing on their own respective activities. So I went to see various concerts, soLi, Kari Band etc. where I can see BOH, Isao, Yuta and other Kamis.) Su-Metal is singing about some established style which used to be revolutionary and literally "stylish" but has turned already obsolete like an "Illusion of Rusted Chain" (last phrase of Su's rapping). Lyrics are suggesting breakthrough in or challenge to the status-quo (including the status of BM itself). I love it.😍

Some time ago Moa was asked what her workout routine was. Moa replied, "Being in Babymetal IS my workout routine." You are so right about Su's voice. It has always been mesmerizing. But-and I think you chose a good word-it was just extra fierce here!

It was a travesty this was only on their Japanese Album release not the international one. I think once they realized just how much of a banger this was. They made up for it adding it to the world tour!! Saw this performance in Vegas and was so f** boss & really shows just how skilled Suzuka is here. Hope they never replace this!!🤘 🔥🎙🔥

Good reaction! I personally don't think that's Momo (the screams are the same in the studio track), but it's cool to know now that she definitely COULD do it and that it should be something they tap into for effect regularly in the future.
@CanaldoPortador6 ай бұрын
They probably don't want to force her so much yet. If she's about to take over growling it's probably gonna be the next album forward

How could you miss the opportunity to see an unique live show they will never repeat?😮 I bet Momo-chan is sad now.😛 Well i won't make the same mistake and i got my tickets for Knotfest Brazil in October, hopefully they will add more countries nearby, i know it's not the same as a headlining show but at least it's the closest place i get to see them live, also the line up along with Slipknot is cool to enjoy the whole festival and i will definitely enjoy this song bc is one of the solid track in the setlist.🦊🤘🔥

@@BlazinNSoul i saw it )) i was hooked on Hagane due to JUNNA at first. It was a random video that popped up in recommendations, decided to watch it briefly, then... OMG it's JUNNA on drums! :D Later checked their other songs from new album, pure pleasure, man. Their new line up is a fckin killer, i hope that they will become huge, it would be amazing journey. Sakura ( guitarist) is also one of the best female guitarists i've seen so far. She has her own channel- Sakura Yoshida, check it as well 👍

I was at Yokohama Arena for this show and Su was absolutely on fire. I've seen her live a bunch of times and this was the best she has sounded when I've seen her. I think the last 18 months of constant touring and performing has really honed her voice into a precise, sharp blade. I also think that all the success they have enjoyed recently has their confidence shy high and Su's performance reflects that confidence.

Every recent live, Su sounds like she's being less careful. She's good. She knows she's good. And it sounds like she's leaving room in perfection for personality. And of course that makes it sound EVEN BETTER. I love it. I don't know if it's Momo's influence, or just a new direction since the sort of rebirth of the group after hiatus, but I'm loving it. First noticed it on Metali, and now it's super apparent in all the recent lives from MM and Foxfest. She's got *attitude* here. It's so great. (Moa has always had attitude. XD And Momo brought plenty of her own with her. It's fantastic.) 🤘🦊🤘
