That woman is Tia Ray and Dimash met her at THE SINGER show! 😊They became BFFs and have worked together a few times since then. They have sung "Jasmine" together. (Dimash has sung this a few times as a solo and duet.) Jam Hsiao from the last Dimash video was also at The Singer with them! I was just about to recommend the Jazz piece with Jam. So that makes 2 of us, maybe he will listen. He would know all of this stuff if he watched Gloria Wu's channel. They miss so much, when they don't. Just because of being a couple of minutes longer . No meeting with Jackie Chan, etc. No back stage fun.

Tia and Dimash reunited in the Fall of 2023 to sing Jasmine. Stunning performance. Note that Dimash is the only foreigner to be invited to sing Jasmine every year since 2017 except the Covid years. Shows how much the Chinese revere Dimash.

Yes, Jasmine is like a “national song’ only a handful of foreigners have been invited to sing. Thus far, besides Dimash, Celine Dion and Vitas (yep, he is God of Vocal to the Chinese, they call him God V😂) had performed this song on the Chinese major TV programmes as well. Dimash has several versions of Jasmine, all are great, but his duet with Chinese Grammy-awarded singer “Wu Tong’ is a must see. His Jasmine duet with Tia Ray is amazing too.

Tia Ray is a Hong Kong based singer. Her English is very good. Dimash and Tia bonded over their love of MJ, while on the set of the Singer. Her voice is even better now and she's more beautiful today. They have recently sang together. Its on his Instagram, he's wearing a white jacket and black pants and Tia is wearing a red dress. Celebrating the Silk Road Show 10th anniversary, it was the opener. They sang the song Jasmine Flower. The performance is amazing......the production quality.

The male singer is a famous Chinese opera singer. Trained by Placido I think. It was Chinese new year 2023. Dimash left the Big Brother competiton to do a number of pre-winter olympic games.

Tia was the singer who sang immediately after Dimash sang S O S on the Chinese I Am Singer. Imagine having to sing after Dimash came for the first time, but if you watch her performance on that, it was amazing. They became friends.

Tia Ray. Dimash met her in 2017 when he was on The Singer. Tia was also a contestant. They became friends (I think she spoke Russian and was one of the few who could communicate easily with Dimash.) Tia was actually invited to Kazakhstan by Dimash and spent time with him and his family off stage.

I am constantly amazed at the level of these Chinese productions. I had not see the "We are the World" performance before. Thanks. For "Thousands of Miles" Dimash took a Chinese poem and set it to music using a dombra accompaniment. I love this song in all the performances.

Tia Ray is currently one of the best female Chinese pop singers, check out her halo, love on top, Lady A Chu, and her collaboration with Jam Hsiao and Dimash called “extraordinary”, a jazzy song composed by Tia Ray herself. For more recent performances, her duet with Dimash “jasmine” performed last year is great too.

This singer is Tia Ray, whom he met on Singer 2017. She is very good. He sings more in a Western style, so he can show a really strong voice. Chinese singers mainly sing in the Chinese style, gently, I always have the impression that they get tired when playing strong sounds. Maybe this is the right way to suit their nasal pronunciation. This is not a criticism, because I really like Chinese singers, e.g. pop singers.

Wow John, I hadn't heard that duet of We Are the World. Gorgeous! I had heard him sing it with other judges on a competition show. It was great also. How does he change 'voices' so easily? Lifetime of training, many hours a day of practice, and a beautiful musical gift from God as well as an astounding work ethic. That's how! I hadn't heard the second one either!
