Dan's highs are so unique. Like the first time I heard him in EE, I think in what's still my favorite song, Kiss of the Recluse I instantly knew he was one of the best there are at vocals. And I'll fight that till I die.
@Duskwalker683 жыл бұрын
Dan's vocals have gotten so much better, I'm starting to place him in the same tier as Dickie, Alex and Ben! Ever since the Luciferous album these guys have been absolutely nailing it!

Damnnnn this was fire. I loved that the first few minutes was pretty straight forward and really solid. And then they dropped us on our face and just kept switching it up. Incredible song and so far both singles are vastly different from their earlier stuff. Hype af for this album.
@trs51272 жыл бұрын
The way Dan switches between his classy high screams and just the big, deep growls is impressive. Easily AOTY. I doubt there'll be anything this year that can top this. Edit: 4 months later; have already heard the Darko and the Fit For An Autopsy albums, and this is still AOTY. They win I think

I still think the bridge dragged on too long and slowed the momentum of the song a bit too much, but goddamn you’re right that the fake-out breakdowns and then the guitar solo were sick and probably wouldn’t have worked as well otherwise. They’re 2 for 2 with me so far. Can’t wait for this record! Hopefully I can get my vinyl signed like I did with Luciferous lol

This is really one of the greatest metal albums to come out in recent years. It sucks now knowing Dan is no longer part of this group. It’s going to be interesting now to see where this band goes. Dan is going to be hard to replace and it’ll either make or break this band.

I do enjoy this song, but I think Where Dreams Are Broken is more enjoyable. I’m glad that both have fast pacing, but I’m just so tired of the slow breakdowns and songs that drag on. I’ve seen people comparing this to Lorna Shore, which I think is kind of dumb. But I do feel like a lot of bands have been trying to copy the Immortal album formula in a sense (I don’t think EE did though) and it’s just kinda become stale.
